This sermon reminds me of 5 things that the world tells you that are not biblical: 1) Follow your heart- Jesus says. " follow me because the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked, who can understand it. 2) be true to yourself- He said "whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves, take up their cross and follow me". 3) believe in yourself- Jesus says" believe in me, I am the way the truth and the life ,no one comes to the father but through me". 4) live your Truth- Jesus about truth said " I am the truth and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free" 5) As long as you are happy that's all that matters- Jesus says "what will it profit a man if he gain the whole world and lose his soul, or what can a man give in exchange for his soul. 1. Jeremiah 17:9 2. Matthew 16:24 3. John 14:6 4. John 8:32 5. Mark 8:36
