Obviously, the playbook wasn't fully opened up, but the medium and medium-long throws that we did see had so much more zip and accuracy than what we saw with Mariota. If the Falcons are comfortable becoming a run-first offense, I'm good with slotting in Ridder as the starter next year and going full defense in free agency and draft.

I'm okay that coach erred on the side of caution, but I believe Ridder was ready to take his lumps weeks earlier and would've hit his stride in time to make the playoffs. I'm not mad, though. He's gonna have plenty of chances in the very near future! 😎👍

My FA wishlist: -Sign top notch Center and/or Left Guard. Need some All-Pro talent. McGary took a step forward, Matthews is solid, Lindstrom is a BEAST. -Sign top notch Edge and inside big men. Grady needs a partner. -Resign Lorenzo, Evans, Hayward. Nothing big, just to keep around for 2-3 years. Draft: -If we don't find a good edge guy in FA, draft one at #8 -If we build our trenches with our deep pockets that we're going to have, get DBs. AJ and Hayward need help. Need a good Safety. -Get Ridder another target. Pitts, London, and CP3 are all we have. OZ was OK, but not a true #2. Guys, I think we can make the playoffs next year. I anticipated a 3-4 win maximum on this season. How we got 7 and could easily have won 9 or 10, especially if Ridder started sooner, is unreal to me. We finally have money after Arthur and Terry got rid of all those bloated, bad contracts that Dimitroff loved giving out to AVERAGE talent. This offseason was a blessing in disguise, in my opinion.

He looks pretty good with literally only one good receiver in Drake London. Imagine when he has Kyle Pitts back next season and maybe add another WR through free agency and Tyler Allgeier can start next season and then use Cordarrelle Patterson as a change of pace back on like third downs and flex him out on the slot as a receiver. But they've got a good young core to build around. Ridder, London, Allgeier are all rookies and Pitts is a sophomore. Plus they are finally out from under Matt Ryan and Julio's contracts and will have almost $100 million in cap space to sign some good players. Plus our defense has a lot of rookies and sophomores that played well in Richie Grant, Jaylinn Hawkins, Troy Anderson, Mykal Walker, AJ Terrell, Arnold Ebekiete, and more. First few picks in draft they need to get some defensive line help cause our pass rush sucks we were second to last in sacks and then get some secondary help and then maybe get a offensive linemen and then add another receiver in free agency and we can be good with this young core. Worse comes to worse and Desmond Ridder doesn't work out over the next year or two and you have Caleb Williams, Drake Maybe, Quinn Ewers coming out in the next year's at QB

I know we only signed MyCole Pruitt to a one year deal like we did a lot of other players cause we had no cap space but I like Pruitt..I think we should keep him and use a two tight end set with him and Kyle Pitts cause he is a better blocker then Pitts and Pitts is the better receiver but Pruitt has been money in goal to go situations he finished the season with 16 catches for 150 something yards and 4 Touchdowns.
