Whenever I'm about to read a scientific paper, I skip to the citations to find out the author's height and musculature. If he's not at least 6 feet tall and 190 lean pounds, I know the paper isn't worth reading. As a matter of fact, most scientific and philosophical debates are settled by way of comparing physiques and slinging insults. I believe it was Kant in his Critique of Pure Reason who said "You're ugly and you're stupid". Wiser words were never spoken.

Gravity is one of the scientific theories where we're actually pretty sure that it's NOT complete since in it's current form it is incompatible with quatum mechanics. So we have two theories which on their own work "pretty well" to describe our world, but they don't work together. This is a clear problem and most research in that field at the moment is trying to find a quantised theory of gravity which we haven't yet. Though maybe we find something completely different. It's certainly not "complete". No scientific theory is ever complete, just as Eric said. We still don't know where gravity comes from. We know that it scales with mass and that every mass has it / generates it, but we have no idea where it comes from. This is actually true for literally everything we know about nature. The further down you look we will reach a point where we can no longer observe things.
