I have a friend that has been drinking heavily for 20+ years. She can not even skip a single day. But her husband is the enabler. He works and drinks with her when he gets home. She will die someday in the near future. I feel helpless trying to save her. I quit almost 7 years ago Sept 8 2017. It is so great being clean and healthy at 61. Wish she could do the same?

I have "Let Go and Let God" posted on my mirrors in my little house...it can be a long road when we, the enablers, think we can love someone to sobriety or to get clean. Bless "Ben" and bless his mom! Thank you for being a good friend and sponsor.....
