It was never about the environment or emissions, the only ‘climate’ corpos and Their Owners remotely care about is the one of the social realm, and how to exert maximum ‘influence’ over it.

Apple is so pro-consumers and pro-mother nature that: - They throw away hundreds of thousands of completely fine iPhones and MacBooks just so they will not compete with their own old equipment - They also removed chargers from the box and then changed charging ports so the people would have to throw away their old charges and buy a new charger (it has to be packaged, and then packaged again for the shipping so two more packages to throw away) - They also design their devices and software lock them so noone can fix them and keep in mind that Apple do not want to fix their own old equipment, so if you have let's say iPhone 8 and screen brakes you have nowhere to go but throw it away and buy a new one - They also reduce power output in their OS updates so your phone gets slower with every update and finally you are forced to switch to new phone and throw away the old one - They also design the iPhones and MacBooks with planned obsolescence in such a manner that if something brakes your warranty will not cover it and you will have to throw away a (mostly) salvageable/repairable device and buy a new one etc. So ecological

As to Point 3: Meanwhile, Leica still services and supplies parts for every model of M Camera, back to the first M3 of April 1954. The only parts they don't stock are the M3 rangefinder, which is incredibly complex even by M standards, and the M1/2/3-style back door. If your M3 finder can't be repaired, they ask which type finder you want, as they still have every other type ever made, and they're all interchangeable. If they can't fix the door, they ask if an M4/6 door is OK, even though they'll work, cos a lot of early M owners would rather scour the Earth for the cosmetically-correct M3 door. Leica offer this level of support for cameras that 1. Are up to 70 years old 2. Were outmoded technically by the Nikon F in 1959 3. Were outmoded again by digital SLR's in 2005 And yet, Apple won't support a phone that's less than a year old. Sure, OK. Guess what? I don't have to buy another Nikon every six months cos Nikon made my old one die by remote control. Instead of that, my four Nikon F's and three F2's are 44-60 years old. Five were slightly messed up from decades of daily use as professional tools. For $150 each, I got them cleaned with modern synthetic oil, and they will now outlive everyone who is alive today. Did you see any Leica M's or Nikon F's in the oceans or pits in any of those shots? Me either. Sure were a lotta iphones, though. Funny thing, that.

Some subliminal messaging you might have missed: Post menopausal Mother Nature (goddess of an already doomed planet) is dressed in all black like carbon, which happens to match Tim Cook's shirt. Also the pretty east Asian girl is breathless not because she's excited to meet Mother Nature like Santa Claus, she doesn't have to assemble any of the devices like her less lucky extended family.

The biggest crime in making mother nature as that is the sheer lack of creativity. She could've been dressed in some sort of red-yellow-brown outfit to represent Autumn or some form of nature wilting away. It could also have been grey clouds grey to symbolize some sort of dreary tone like "you're about to get an earful of misery." Instead, she straight up just looks like a corporate boss. Mother Nature could have worked as an older lady, but it just comes off as extremely lazy. In fact, anyone here could have been Mother Nature and the feel of Mother Nature in this ad would not have changed.

7:33...impressive diversity of the board. As someone who sits (and sat) in many board meetings, you guys would be surprised on what is really going on. Yes, most boards FORCE diversity. People are promoted for their looks, not their accomplishments, and as one (very accomplished) "diverse" person told me once: "I will never know if I am here because of my effort or because of my gender/race, and that makes me very sad". Worst still, simple, non key tasks are made look as really important, and these people are placed into those tasks so they can be "busy" while the real work is done by people who, unfortunately, are not of the right gender/color. A couple of years ago we got the mandate to increase diversity in our teams. One of the managers ask a few "volunteers" and, together with himself, declared themselves "genderfluid". They were straight as arrows, but that´s how they "solved" the "problem".

Well, "mother nature can't be heavyset because she is usually depicted as a young slim woman" isn't quite true when we look at more ancient, traditional religious depictions. There are many variations of this imagery, many of them implies that this goddess gave many births or needed to feed many children. IMHO, the crucial fault of this particular character is that this woman doesn't feel, well, MOTHERLY. Or like a deity. She doesn't have any "presence", she is neither powerful nor regal nor fierce. Her looks don't convey the message at all. Remember the volcano goddess from Moana - THAT mother Nature would just burn this team of effective managers alive in a fit of her righteous rage. There is no real plot in this short film, and so no sense of appeasement of a deity, no sense of real awe and love. No emotions whatsoever.
