Ron Swanson in Italy there’s a traditional pizza called “marinara” that is only pizza dough and tomato sauce (with some olive oil and olives on top) no cheese. And at the same time there are types of pizza with no tomato sauce. And are still pizza 😜

I’m a native New Yorker and I’ve had real dessert pizza in Boston at Sal’s. The pie had chocolate and actual melted mozzarella on real pizza dough. It was served hot and was 110% real pizza.

Ricotta and lemon with a touch of sugar should be the base. Dark chocolate grated cheese, candied orange salami, and toasted ground hazelnut as the parmesan. Just because you are a proud chef doesn't mean you shouldn't be flexible and creative.

Just wanna let all you guys nlknow. Dessert pizza has been common in Brazil for a good 15 years now. Still don't know why it hasn't become a world spread thing. It's fucking good, it's literally dough with dessert toppings, couldn't be better
