The Octantis arrived Duluth for the first visit this season June 6, 2024 at 04:29 in the AM, cruising into Port at 6.5 kts. They were coming in from Thunder Bay ON. The Octantis dropped anchor in the inner harbor at 04:54 and began transfer their cargo of passengers to shore at the DECC via their two Tender Boats. This was the "end" of the journey for many of the passengers and the beginning of the journey for many others. After 15.6 hours in Port, they successfully did a passenger changeover and departed Duluth, heading back N.E to Thunder Bay.

The backwards sloping bow comes out beautifully in these shots. It makes me think of the Oseberg ship, and the name "Viking..." also suggests that.

Agreed . I wouldn't thank for a cruise. Love the working lakers and salties. But Paul does a brilliant job of filming any vessel.
