Just Got my DTV from Royal Thai Mumbai Embassy (via VFS). Following docs submitted on 1st Aug 1. Cover Letter (mentioning I had Smart Visa in past, and speaker in many conferences including in Thailand ) 2, Company papers (am tech entrepreneur)( gave my company certificate, director certificate) 3. Latest IT returns (Filed on July 2024) 4. Bank FD (around 14L) and last 6 month bank statement print out - no bank stamps 5. Return Fares with hotel bookings Plus Visa Form...Non immigrant chosen, and put DTV beside it 25K charges + 500 VFS+ 500 Passport home delivery Demand Draft only for Delhi..not for Mumbai or other centres....I carried demand draft in VFS Mumbai, was not accepted Happy to answer any questions...

I was interested in applying for it and since I am based in Mumbai wanted to seek your guidance on its application through VFS Mumbai centre. 1) Do you recommend having a cover letter to be attached along with the visa application form? As such what contents should be posted within it? 2) Since I work as a remote contractor with a company based overseas would a work contract alone be sufficient in this case or would it also require an employer's verification letter to support the case? Also, since I am the sole proprietor do we need to showcase its certificate/GST certificate etc. 3) For financial proof is bank statement alone enough or do we need to attach payslips/invoice copies? Since you mentioned the latest ITR, do you also recommend having the latest bank statement for the past 1 year or so handy? 4) Is the form legitimately posted on the VFS website since it doesn't seem to have the DTV category for application? Or do you recommend procuring the form from VFS's office. 5) Any other recommendations from your end to help support the case Also, in which branch of VFS global mumbai did you submit your application?

@@harsonik here is my reply and suggestion 1. Cover letter should have dates, purpose of visit, list of attachments , declaration that you will cover your own expenses , and any work reference or brownie points you want to add 2. Company certificate...proprietorship evidence, gst copy ... 3. FD of over 12 lakhs , last 6 months bank statement , latest ITR copy 4. Same online form as in vfs website...select non immigrant and put DTV beside it 5. In Mumbai only vfs Mahalakshmi accept the Thai DTV application Payment is in card ..make sure to book flight tkts and hotel reservation of your stay Hope it helps..Best of luck

Well, FDs can also be accepted as it is. You can take more clarification from VFS. Many countries accept FDs as a proof of financial statement.

you can enter again there is no cooling off period as long as you travel by air. But keep all your documents in check they may ask randomly for the documents

it depends if you have booked your flight under the same itinerary or a different PNR. If it is a single PNR then you will clear the immigration in Phuket. If you have a different PNR flight from Cambodia to Thailand then you will have to clear the immigration at BKK first and then catch your flight to Phuket.

Please confirm 10. Invitation letter from the company in Thailand to attend the activity (sport-related activity, cooking class, medical treatment, meeting, seminar, art performance) 11. A relationship proof, e.g., a marriage certificate or birth certificate or adoption certificate (in case of a dependent or family member - spouse and children aged under 20 years)

If you are working for a company in the US you are eligible to apply for DTV. You should only present your own proof of employment. A relationship proof, e.g., a marriage certificate or birth certificate or adoption certificate (in case of a dependent or family member - spouse and children aged under 20 years)- If depends are not traveling with you then it is not applicable.

I would recommend that you book your activities through Klook for any activities. Also for Sanctuary, Tiger Park you can book your ticket at the venue no need for online platforms. Mostly floating markets are free to visit. For instance, you want to do water sports activities or want some days trips to other cities then it is good to book packages through online sites.
