I lived n grew up in Mandurah back when the population was around 7000 it was a awesome place, old lazy crabbing town. Wish it was still the same.

Over 200 thousand people in and around so why people are expecting small town quaintness and perfect social climate beats me ! Nothing wrong with the area and loaded with things to do. Ocean , inlet and half hour from the Darling Range. Bus and train service brilliant and more sporting variety and shopping choices than you can poke a stick at. Perth an hour away if necessary and you have a head start on a trip to the South West. 😎👍

Visited here from the UK. Passable environment but you have to take out a mortgage to buy simple necessities. Not for me. Feels soulless and hollow.
