I'm not here to write an entire counterargument, but I do have something I would like to mention regarding your point surrounding Ghost's vulnerability while we are dead, Ghosts are invulnerable; Cayde's ghost was destroyed because it was shot with a weapon of Darkness. Why other enemies haven't decided to just start using weapons of Darkness or why we're able to crush Hive Ghosts in The Witch Queen is beyond me. In game, when you are down, some enemies will try to shoot your Ghost to no avail (at least in my experience). I'm no lore expert with only 93 hours, but that's my two cents.

As far as I know, there were various times when ghosts were shown to be destroyed by regular enemies in the lore, other than just in Witch Queen

Hello, it seems your script is based on outdated or erroneous information. First, this isn't really a pay to win game. you can buy season pass levels to skip grinding, therefore get the pass' advantages early, yes, but they won't get you really better gear, at most you get marginally better stats on the armor rolls the pass contains. Second, the glimmer cap has been increased to 500k. Third, Weapon stats aren't meant to change much, as the game has a competitive side, and the weapons are meant to each have an identity and a somewhat unique feel. Exotics get catalysts, that can up some stats, but they usually add a perk or even a functionnality to a weapon. Legendary weapons can get a masterwork perk that boosts a stat by up to 10, and equippable mods can also add some points, but that will never go further than that. Fourth, the power level hasn't increased since the last expansion (Lightfall). That was new at the time, but it shows again that you base your review on outdated information. I agree with your title though. Had this game benefitted from a more stable studio and better decisions, this could have been perfect (sunsetting content is the worst offender i think). I'll stop here, but i wish you the best in your reviewing endeavours.

Exactly. If you're going to bash a game at least do it right and with correct information. And despite it being a catastrophe, it has great points. I feel this take is too emotional and lacking in logic. Even after my almost 3k hours in Destiny 2 this seems weak. I get being upset forsaken was taken away as well but you should make an actual argument beyond just whining your favorite campaign got taken away acting like other campaigns weren't added to also show the fragile nature of guardians and their losses. "If you can play through an entire game multiple times over without ever discovering something or needing to know it, than it's probably not that important" is the stupidest shit I have ever heard about gaming especially knowing the plethora of games out there with hidden details and lore not even associated with the gameplay that are not important to play the game but build the world around you. This was almost as big of a grab as bungie does with their in game shop.

Most of the information and writing I used is from about 2022, so if there’s anything that’s inaccurate or wrong, that is a genuine mistake. I’ve been meaning to post a video like this for a long time and I have a hard time with script writing, so it ended out the way it did.

Friend, you forgot that in the upcoming expansion of Final Shape, the initial sunsetting of weapons from previous expansion will be undone.

@@That_One_Sunshine_Knight but they don't offer any way to recover sunset weapons we dismantled since then (my dawn weapons 🥺). Also, weapons aren't campaigns, activities, locations, etc. They don't sunset everything. Yet, anyway.

First off, you are not wrong, D2 s potential has been squandered horribly, but... Nearly every point you made is out of date, sometimes by years. ur opinion was invalid the second u said u have 400 hours and havent played for a long time... first off the lore is one of the best lore in games ive ever seen the game isnt pay to win only pay to play so u buy the dlcs but if u play the dlcs u have the same advantages and like the top comment says most of ur takes are outdated
