Y’know I like the D1 tower, but even with the Tower returning in The Pale Heart and maybe Into the Light I feel like they could’ve done something better. Honestly we’ve should’ve gotten the purple ball, or a ball with The Traveler pattern on it.

Huh. You know what we got for the original D2 collectors edition? A little picture of the Leviathan, some guardian thimbles, an interesting lore book talking about Cabal characters (90% of which were never mentioned in the game itself) and thats about it.. 😆

Very cool to see that Content Creators are getting their FREE version of the Collectors Edition, before those of us who actually paid for it. Would have been nice if everyone got them at the same time so we could have enjoyed it alongside all the unboxings and had a shared experience, but nope.

Pretty sure they already told us that the interior of the traveler "responds to your mind" and thus the landing point would be the original tower with things getting weirder as you approach the witness' stronghold. I don't think it needs to have anything to do with Into the Light. Unless of course Into the Light is just the first mission of TFS campaign rejiggered into a repeatable activity (which honestly seems entirely possible and maybe even reasonable)

I'm so glad I didn't waste $175 - $275 on this trash... The Witch Queen collectors edition will always be the best one we ever got. There was a hive ghost and a cool "mystery signal tuner" stand that would scan items you found in the box and also different merch in the store for secret messages. There was intrigue and mystery along with sweet art, posters, cards, etc. This is just a crappy bland unfinished CAD model of the tower with worse looking figurines and everything seems poorly packaged with how it's all just falling out as you unbox it. What a lame send off by bungie.

Paul is D 1 tower. So it's not the d2 tower being rebuilt. I think inside the traveler is affected by your memories so kinda makes sense that it's d1 tower. It's not a fixed D2 tower is a Newbury of d1 tower. At least that's the way i am feeling is going

You don't understand why someone would want a collectors edition of a game? For people that love the game, the extra lore and other cool things that come along with it, that aren't available anywhere else.. People collect things. They look cool on the PC desk or on a shelf. Some people just think things are cool to have on their desk.. not to mention collector editions of games don't stay in print for long, they common go up in value later on. There's a bunch of different reasons people buy CE's.
