I hope bungie has the balls to use this like a real infection, having an event where you have a percent and need to do events to either raise it or intentionally go to the darkness for more power. Where also either perma lose or save some NPCs such as shaxx, Eris, and so on with other minor characters stepping up like Asher, sloane and so on.

This excites me for the music of destiny. Destiny has always struggled with keeping consistent motifs in its music; the only two which have consistently meant anything were the cabal theme (recurring theme in cabal stomp) and oryx's theme (opening fanfare of regicide). "Savathun's song" definitely started as a generic "shadowkeep" motif which unfortunately didn't mean a lot but now I'm really excited that it'll probably be used to represent savathun in destiny's musical language going forward.

Hey Byf, I need your attention! In regards to this video and about Savathun's song being in different places. It is also showing itself in multiple places during the Garden of Salvation raid! You can hear it right at the beginning of the 2nd phase of the Consecrated Mind (the tether towers encounter) and is scattered all across the soundtrack. It's also all over the 3rd phase of the Consecrated Mind (the first boss) AND the whole soundtrack for the final boss, the Sanctified Mind. The Savathun's Song part in the soundtracks is in a little wierd tempo, but still really recognizable. I hope you can figure out what this means, why Savathun would have a connection with this spesific raid and what impact this might have on us guardians taking on this raid week after week. Love your videos dude. Keep it up! :)
