it's possible, but you'd have to move things around and you may have to give up a mod or change it to another

@@looksnormal You can achieve this by equipping a Solar cape with 2x bomber (costs 2 each, total 4) with either Supercharged (cost 5) or Charged Up (cost 2). You would need to move around the mods however, as long as you have 2 Solar armour pcs (For Supercharged and Charged Up) and 2 Void (For Precision Charge and Energy Converter), you should be just fine. Taking Charge mod is not Affinity locked, so it can go on any piece.

Great in detail on mods/perks to use and how they work in combination as well as showing what each weapon/armour has in perks/mod/stats. Good to see your build is realistically achievable as not every weapon/armour is masterworked - so many recommended builds I’ve seen have all weapons/armour masterworked. Not all of us have a huge supply of enhancement prisms and ascendant shards.

Hey if you wanted to take this build to the extreme I would use something like this, I have been using this as a fun build for crazy supers just combine what he said in the video with this. You can also get your grenades pretty fast with this setup. Damn, that video was wild. You should make a video on Warlock Verity’s Brow because I’m loving how much freedom it has with options because it makes any special weapon get a better version of demolitionist, but it also increases the actual grenades damage. (I find bottom tree Voidwalker with its “Devour” perk works best since it will increase the grenade charge rate even more and heals on kill) I’d love to see what combos you’d come up with and I’m enjoying the use of old exotics with your builds.

this buuild actually works even better by using the pulse rifle multi kills charge with light mod wiht bad juju + the new sesonal mod berserk where you get up to a 35% damage buff after your super and if you still want the burn damage to recharge your dodge you can use martyrs retribution grenade launcher as well with auto loading. so you shoot your nade launcher switch to bad juj with 35% weapon damage to merc all the adds which gets your more charge stacks as well as regaining your super at the same time and just hot swap back to the martyrs when ever its reloaded

Maby you dont have all the warmind cell mods? Cause if you combine Rage of the Warmind, Warth of the Warmind, Global reach. Then your warmind cells will be literally Nukes in therms of damage and distance they kill stuff Plus now 1 warmind cell explosion can create another warmind cell. So you chain warmind cell explosion after one another. These warmind mods are in the solar energy slot. Check if you have them 😉

I use Horror story with demolitionist and use the charge with light mod that charges you with autorifle or trace rifle. Also I sometimes use the bombardedier exotic instead of shards, since I always dodge

Just a quick tip you can also use hands on to get much more than 5% of super energy by killing enemies with melee and using impact induction you can regain grenade energi by hittimg those knives...being a 3 hit melee you can easily kill 3 targets and get super quickly

Use this build except with double Ashes to Assets, distribution, stacks on stacks, a masterworked demolitionist explosive payload Old Fashioned, and Polaris Lance w/catalyst. Polaris for playing with fire and decent dmg for stronger targets, ad clear, and orbs, Old Fashioned to get my grenade back faster and orbs, stacks on stacks to get max charges faster, double Ashes to Assets and distribution for a nice bump in super energy when needed.

Depends if you have orbs laying around. I just used precision charge because i only have a good HC with demolitionist. Substained charge is even better if you have a good auto rifle also with demolitionist since then your Lens and Auto rifle will bothe charge you

I have a build idea im sure you could expand on, stasis warlock with the fragments to boost your grenade charge when shattering crystals and super energy when you kill frozen enemies. I use the seeker grenade to freeze and for crystals I use the stasis grenade launcher. I use dynamo to facecheck enemies and drop a rift on them, freezing them. My weapon of choice is the season of the hunt smg with wellspring, so I get all my freezing abilities back faster. You just use an ability to freeze something, kill it with the smg and the warlock aspect will freeze more stuff, making you get your super back very quickly! you could use this with bad juju and the energy converter mod as well, but I don't have that mod yet, and you would be missing out on the stasis grenade launcher, which I use when all my abilities are on cooldown (to freeze things and shatter crystals to get my grenade back) I think you could do something pretty cool with this setup

Just another thing to think about. If you run either the mod that restores your HP on solar super cast or the one where when getting many kills with your super you get increased damage would probably greatly benefit this build. These are mods from the 5th colom In the artifact btw

Haven’t seen talk of Sunshot in the comments. I feel like that could be used to keep consistent burn damage ticks going, and maybe something else to Charge your Light. While you could also use precision charge, I feel it could be a much more streamlined process to consistently have burning going on, instead of primarily focusing on headshots(though that’s not hard)

there's a reason why that shards of galanors recharge time is like that. It was nerfed beyond useful in PVE couple of years ago. ( Cause ppls be whining in PVP) Used to be way better and less " buggy" - regarding the reacting time of super energy return

It cost 4 energy, while hand cannons only cost 2. The build in the vid works nicely because dynamo and precision charge are going on the same armor piece. You could use other builds centered around your super, but the one shown just maximizes use of it

If you have Substained charge then swap it out for that because this works well with lens too. You do need a auto rifle with demolitionist though or maby equip bomber on your cloak to get your grenade back. It requires some switching things around but its possible 😉

How about using Sustained Charge instead of Precision Charge? That way you're gaining Charges of Light through successive Trace Rifle kills. It seems more efficient as you'll be gaining Charges as you gain your dodge back. And because Sustained Charge also works with an autorifle, there's a way to add a Warmind Cell option to your build if you have room for it, by having Open Reach and using a Seventh Seraph Carbine in your kinetic slot.

Yea other people in tthe comments also suggested this. And indeed definitely run this and make sure you run an auto rifle with demolitionist so you maximize this 😉. I just like handcannons more and i don't have a good auto rifle with demo anymore since sunsetting..😅

@@Nogardborn that's the only issue with running a Seraph Carbine. It comes with Swashbuckler, but not Demolitionist. Still, I'd probably run high Discipline to offset not having Demolitionist, as Warmind Cells are a must have in my eyes.

The problem is, Prometheus Lens sucks as a damage option. This could be good for general purpose world killing, but focused content like Master NF or Raids requires weapons to have solid damage output, or niche weapon types to deal with champions. Trace rifles unfortunately suck in both regards, with the sole exception being Divinity for obvious reasons. In addition, the grenade mod only works for the first half of your super bar. Once you get past it, it does literally nothing.

You'll want the dodge to recharge your melee, as the knives do burn damage, which will again recharge your dodge. You can just consistently do that for good damage output. The knives are surprisingly powerful in pve

This build might not be the "best deeps" or "Meta" but it sure as hell fun. Also despite what others might say, a highly spammable blade barrage will wipe out majors and thrash in higher nightfalls, which is nice to have since they *cough* removed all our legendary machine gun options.

Main thing of this build is the Energy converter and 5x charge with light. So as lonf as you have this then you can equip whatever weapons you like 😉. Just wanted to show off the synergy between Lens and Dynamo

Don't use sustained fire with Prometheus Lens. Use tap fire because it cannot count how many instances of burn are ticking between each ammo, it is incremental, so every time you tap fire onto an enemy it will bump the dodge energy per hit rather than wasting ammo. Throw your melee on larger targets to double the burn ticks and you can just keep spamming dodge. Doing tap fire will allow for more opportunities to gain dodges on smaller enemies.

2 Questions: First. If you're using Prometheus Lens, why not use the Sustained Charge Mod to become CWL from Trace Rifle kills? Second, if your set on using Precision Charge, why not run Polaris Lance instead? The Perfect 5th perk also counts as a burn effect.

But if you have a good auto rifle with demolitionist the definitely run this one instead 😉 or run Bomber on your class item if possible. This will also give your grenade back Second awnser: Lens because its easier since every hit from this counts as a burn not just the 5th shot.

I think lens never gives playing with fire as its not intended too. Only your Fan knives should give you playing with fire. Thats why its such a good combo to use the dodge that gives a melee charge, then with lens giving you your dodge so quick you can keep dodging for a knife charge and super energy! If you also put on Bomber on your Cloak then you maximize this even more!

Shards has been in the game since forsaken this is true, but then they nerfed them and you could only get about half your supet back. With this build that problem is fixed again :p. Mods came out last season so this is possible since last season 😁

Depends if you run it alone or with a fireteam. This can be viable almost everywhere as long as you and 1 buddy run it. Then you easy feed off each others orbs. But i would say in Gambit this works the best clearing group by group no problem. I don't think this will be good in GM Nightfalls since its more about survival in there

Isn't there a charged with light mod that gives you charges by killing with trace rifles? I could be more beneficial than the HC mod

True and it also gives charges with auto rifles. So if you have a good auto rifle with demolitionist then definitely swap it out for this 😉

I uave a similar build but its more of a melee than the super. The exotic that gives you two knive charges, monte carlo and use the middle tree in fire and have 100 melee. I have knives within 7 secondsand with brawler on its a spam kinda deal

Ha! Man nice job!) Have Lens and for the few days I use same hand canon with demolitionist trait on it (do lot of 1220 grind). Though I like WoTC coss of Knife Trick and Assassin's Cowl. I have really durable hunter. I get overshield (forget what the arc mod is) from melee or finishers + Cowl give me health and stealth so I can change position or reload weapons. Always keep my melee charged and when I have lot of trash mobs I stack Knifes buff to 3 and can throw it all day long xD and stay invisible!

Love assassin's cowl! Very nice with top tree arcstrider! Old build that still works very well!. Never tried it with the knifes :o sounds interesting

@@Nogardborn Oh I'll try that Arc. Yeah you can do some stuff with knifes. If you have graverobber trait on primary, knifes help lot when goes for trash clearing. + I love the mechanic. You can control it with a mouse movement so you can launch all 3 in a head of some thick mob or get 3x buff if there bunch of minor adds. It can be launched very wide.
