@@beermarket9971 Well, she didn't transfer the fork back to the main AI so they could fuse back together. Rasputin just deleted the copy of clovis running on the exoframe so Ana/Rasputin killed a copy of Clovis so kind of a dick move that probably erased all the month's worth of memories that clovis had of the helm but since a copy of Clovis is still around he technically didn't die unless you consider the 2 clones of Clovis to be separate people. Like banshee is a very divergent clone of Clovis and is considered a separete person but this copy that had only been disconnected from the main hub for a month probably isn't unique enough to be considered it's own person. Morality becomes weird when people start cloning themselves and then people start killing the clones or the clones start disagreeing with each other.

It was so awesome to be able to travel to Felwinter Peak for the first time (for me) and see what it was like. I know not everything was back, but that doesn't matter. Was also cool to fight PvE enemies inside a PvP map. Also, I can't get over how bizarre and odd it is for Rasputin to now sound like Clovis instead of just shrieking Russian like he used to.

Also, I love this week's story progression but I hate that Rasputin has the same VA as Clovis. Actually Rasputin only sounds a lot like Clovis in the cutscenes. As I've been playing more Heists he's starting to sound distinctly different, more robotic. I can barely hear Clovis anymore in his voice.

This lore is really cool and made me want to go back, and I did, and so much has changed that it feels like joining a movie an hour and a half in, no point to it. I’ve missed a lot of content and story, so I don’t really know what to do or for the most part what is happening. Along with that people who did stay are good and I’m comparatively low level, so pvp is out of the picture too.

I need some here to explain why it's a good idea or better yet choose to have a psycho like Clovis Bray be the voice of a changed Rasputin? Rasputin had his own voice which was amazing and also now is imprinted with Felwinter's code but we gotta hear Clovis' voice 🤔 It would also seem to me that both Ana and Elisabeth would have PTSD from the POS that Clovis was/is and reject hearing that voice esp. Ana who is practically a mother figure to Rasputin. Heck, even Banshee is voiced differently. I've been a fan of Destiny lore for 8 years esp. the Bray legacy/timelines so this really irks me. All this to say, I'm just really bummed that this is the voice of Rasputin, at least for the time being.😪

Judging by what Rasputin said I have a feeling that back door while not 100% safe is still a hard entry point for Clovis as the virus *specifically* was crafted for Rasputin. No, the original plan was to destroy it, not preventing it to leave (the "abherrant imperative" protocol). But Rasputin betrayed Clovis because he developed a mind of its own thanks to Ana's teachings and never activated said protocol. The Traveler itself decided to stay on Earth after the Collapse (yet why it decided that is still a mystery)

I read somewhere that the Traveler was supposed to be morally grey and hiding a huge secret from humanity that was to be figured out in D1. Due to the complete rewrite the story underwent they never got back to that. But they've since reincorporated some of the old story into both D1 and D2, so who knows, maybe we will get some dark secret the Traveler has been hiding from us.

You know what would be a twist? If that wasn't Rasputin speaking. For all his ego and grandstanding, Clovis Bray does not seem to me like a man without introspection. If nothing else, a man as mentally gifted as he would see and understand the way other see him and twist that to manipulate others. So him speaking as Rasputin and saying what we want to hear in some gambit to motivate us would fall in line with a 4D chess move that I see him playing. The partition Ana erased was a sort of... distilled version of Clovis, made to be hated and sacrificed. Probably not. But I wouldn't be the least bit surprised.

I have a theory. But first bear in mind I don’t expect this to be true, as I have been a bit lacking in keeping with certain parts of the lore. I seem to remember that during the golden age, Clovis had, was it “communications”, or “visions”, of “clarity.” And that this entity, “clarity” was later revealed to be the Darkness. So the first part of my speculations is, that the secrets he admits to the guardian, that he had to keep from his family, were of his said communications with “clarity.” Also the true intent of his plans with the Warmind. Consider the message was specifically stated to be sent towards the braytech facility on Europa it seems quite obvious it was more the exo body version of Clovis told big head facility Clovis with that. As for Clovis going disciple I'm very sceptical both lore wise but also meta wise. Lore wise he seems way to self centered and driven to be master of all to settle for being the Witness lackey. Meta wise we are way to close in my book to the end of the light vs dark saga end for Bungie to be adding new disciple threats, it's blantanly obvious Bungie is in full thread closing mode, that's after all why Nezarec last season at most was just a plot McGuffin.

@@Awoken_Remmuz I would agree. It would definitely be too late for something that big to develop. As well, Clovis does seem way too self centered, narcissistic, and egotistical, to serve anyone other than himself!
