I do wonder about why/how the echo ended up in Fikrul's hands as well. If the echo was searching for someone worthy, it makes me wonder if it thought Fikrul was worthy, not because of what he is now, but what he was once before becoming Fikrul. Cause, we know Uldren brought him back as a a Scorn, wishing for him to live, but we don't know anything about the Eliksni/Fallen he was before.

Fikrul actually started a village and new home for the scorn. We know this because crow went to look for him and found him in a peaceful place. Crow decided to leave. My guess is when Fikrul got the echo he sees that he is bringing peace in the long run. It’s like a mortal given god like powers but they are too arrogant they don’t know what to do. The traveler and winnower have all these powers but they use it in the way they do for a reason.

I personally thought the Herald of Finality could’ve been Chelchis, but I’m glad that we have more lore for her here. The exotic mission Kell’s Fall will probably be the story on how Chelchis fell during the Whirlwind

Perfect way to tie Eramis into the story. The echo sings a whirlwind era song and seeks an old strength to pull people together in a time of wrath. Eramis is a good fit. My only issue with this, is that an echo is an artefact remnant of the witness's many consciousnesses and the travelers light. So this is the memory of the witness. Not from an Eliksni.

@@firenzarfrenzy4985 here's the thing, the black fleet added a new ship for every civilization / world they attacked, this means there is one ship that represents Riis / The Eliksni. The darkness is all about memory and mental stuff. And some pyramid ships followed the witness into the traveler.

Maybe it’s just me, but these Echo stories would’ve done far better if they were put into mini-expansions akin to House of Wolves or Warmind. They’re such an interesting concept with lots of potential, but the seasonal model drags them down really hard.

It's interesting that the Echoes seem to be alive and that each one contains the soul of a dead leader, or someone who was very important to an certain civilization, but while Fikrul's Echo (I dunno why they haven't given it a name like they did with Maya's) seems to not recognize him as worthy of its power. The Echo of Command apparently aknowledged Maya as its bearer. Now I wonder: Whose soul will be trapped inside the Echo in the next Episode? I'm pretty sure that Xivu Arath will get her hands on that one, maybe the soul of Taox or the Osmium King is inside it? That'll definitely be interesting to see.

Gotta say, this specific epsiode’s story is really good imo. I love how mellow and almost street level the threats feel after the Witness. Like they’re not immediately pushing a big bad guy, they know this takes time and they’re taking their time. And even then, they still have big implications to their smaller stories! Like the echoes are small, but the voices they carry could be gigantic lore wise

Honestly? Freaking thank you. I feel like a lot of the other lore people aren't really taking this season very seriously and it's making me sad. I'm such a huge Eliksni fan and I've obsessively read everything and anything that involves them. I know most people are more into the Hive, or Mara Sov's posterior or whatever, and it's just really nice to watch a lore video that actually talking about all the interesting implications of this cutscene. Like that Riis looks PERFECTED??? Which I was under the impression that the Witness *couldn't* do that without the light. So maybe it could, but it just took a really long time. And we know how spiteful it was, and I personally know the hoops a person will jump through to be spiteful lol!! Anyway, thank you, I really enjoyed this video. Shot, but very sweet.

Well this explains how a black feet ship made it to sol, it followed the kell to earth. It also makes me wonder if Nezerac killed her. I wanna hone in on the word "echo". Think about it like this the echo of oryx is still out their skulking and watching. Oryx as well, did do light experiments like his sister. The echoes of the traveler so far are of species that used darkness at one point or another..... and my thoughts of taking being a truly pure darkness power...... would mean echoes are just items of light and dark, not mattering what spawned out either one, as they have both regardless. Light and dark aren't wielded tools like ada 1 says they are, just aspects of the universe gifted to mortals to choose how to use them. The great concept of yin yang evil with potential to become good and good with potential to become evil.

I doubt many of you will see this but my theory (with a video coming out on Wednesday) is that I believe this could be the song of creation gifted by the traveler. We know per lore that this song was gifted to the Hive and possibly even the Eliksni when the traveler was present in their systems. I compared it to a song sang by a deathsinger Ir Araim and the songs are uncannily similar. Obviously, the deathsinger's song is a bit different but understandably so with knowing that deathsongs use hidden notes and inverted melodies to perform their power. We could be closer to reverting it.
