The brays probably all went through private learning. While anna was more spotanous or just different and probably didn't fancy academic lessons. [note that she's a hunter and we're just built different ;) ] also in western english, us americans spell gray with an 'a'. While Uk spell it as grey and i.e Color vs colour.

If had to speculate this could be the edge of tomorrow type of time travel when the person leap back in time into there own body but remembers everything from there future self. This would explain why there is no Elsie from this time line and cause less plotholes. It be nice if they would clarify.

well considering that the exo stranger that we know is from a different timeline, its possible that the exo stranger never existed in our own timeline, its possible that Elsie was never turned into an exo in our timeline or that she was killed sometime before the exo stranger arrives, or that by inserting herself into our timeline, she was forced to kill the stranger from our timeline because her timeline jumps dont allow for multiples of a person?

If we go by your theory, Ana in that dark timeline might possibly used braytech implants combined with her mastery of stasis to conceal herself and time travel, which would be interesting af. But personally, i would like the dark ana show up to persuade the current ana to embrace the darkness and follow her path instead of her being there since the beginning as an impostor.

In these moments with Elsie, I like how supportive and honest our Ghost is. I feel Beyond Light gave Ghost a little more personality. I found it really funny in the Stealing Stasis quest where he gets annoyed at having to open another door while we wait (a common gag), and blows a hole through it instead.

It’s mentioned somewhere in the lore that our Elsie, from this/our timeline, died long ago. The one we meet in D1, and meet again in Beyond Light is an Elsie from another timeline: the Dark Future.

You should Read dark future, it’s one of the new lore books found in game, Ana essentially tricked Elsie into attempting a final stand against the darkness but in reality brought her into a trap set by a corrupted eris who became leader of the hive. Elsie basically killed Ana while Ana was desperately trying to convince her to join the darkness and escaped

Okay so, I haven't seen a lot of people bring this up but...If Elsie is from another timeline (Evident by her own admission and the grimoire of how bad her timeline got with Savathun enslaving everyone and we the guardians turning evil due to darkness) then where is our timeline Elsie Bray? All i've seen of this topic is bickering about semantics and that Elsie IS our timeline Elsie but that can't be the case if She has memories and has experienced events that hasn't happened yet.

So is Ana multi cultural? Clovis Bray sounds British, and European in origin due to Elsie’s accent. Ana is very Asian in appearance, though Clovis was stated to have issues with infidelity. Then again, from a certain view Ana looks of mixed race. Looking at her from the warmind trailer. Hard to say, because her appearance seems to shift from time to time.

Clovis the second also edited their genes so they would have the opposite genomes from each other so there is also that point of intrigue. Willa Bray, she's dead. There is however a copy of her mind that could be stored onto an Exo, an interesting way to be revived. But I don't think they'll go that far
