Destiny caring so much about a child who isn't born yet is kind of out of character considering other views he has. I'd say early in pregnancy it's totally normal for a mother-to-be to not necessarily have some kind of deep empathetic connection to her kid. Like maybe 6 months in when the hormone changes are peaking and the kid is moving around then yeah sure. But right now she just knows she's pregnant with no actual bond and her focus is obviously mainly on the "justice" part of the equation for her personally. And if she truly is financially stable to the point where the kid will be fine either way, I think she's still justified in doing what she's doing purely from an interpersonal perspective with no financial ambitions. The guy told her she was the one, called her wifey, flew her around the world, spoke about their hypothetical blasian children. Even if he knows in his mind he was just doing it for pussy and status and playing "the game", he still said what he said and she should hold his balls to the fire.
