We can just cope trying to be nicer to others. But when a Ukraine situation comes, you know where human being in that nation or tribe truly stand in the hierarchy!!! In nature, weak species, unnatural species are generally wiped out. There are many natural rules that follow to weed out abnormalities. That's essentially red pill in core. There can be exceptions in a minute period of time, but they are not applicable in vast masses or not true honestly. If you really disect, Destiny's girl bangs 6'4'' chads cause Destiny is secure. That just means Destiny is only for her emotional tampon like a lesbian, while his so called girl is actually aroused by those Chads. But she know they will never commit to her or give her those feminine support that Destiny gives. Hence, she uses him by marrynig him and uses his security as well. Just when Fresh told Destiny was bi. All girls had a disgusting face and automatically were dried out. Biology is pretty cut throat. This is exactly where the cope arises. It's a cope from ever having to be held to standards you can't accomplish/fulfill. that is the reason high on my list as to why destiny is in an "open" relationship. he doesnt like other people holding him to any standards and calling him out on it. it is frankly quite typical of modern day people, and is the source of all this "subjective" morality. it is simply people's ego's defending themselves in the face of being wrong, hop to the "no one else can judge me because it's all subjective" nonsense. so this open relationship simply allows destiny to live with someone who isnt going to be so judgmental or critical of his behavior because she herself isnt all that invested in the relationship anyway, so she doesnt care all that much how destiny is like or what he does, and in that sense sure destiny "likes it," but it is the result of moral failings, plain and simple, and not wanting to be called out on them.

Every single man in an open relationship would rather only his end be open. Destiny even seems to admit this when he says he wants to be promiscuous therefore he cant tell his wife not to be, implicit in this reason is that he would rather she not. I very much doubt that if Destiny's wife told him that she doesn't want to have sex with other guys but he can still have sex with other women and she is completely happy in this arrangement that he wouldn't like that more. This is the fundamental truth that Destiny seems to avoid, if he would just admit this fact and then go into the calculation as to why he will put up with it that would be one thing, but to pretend he has overcome human biology is kind of crazy. Unless he is some outlier in human behaviour or has specifically trained himself to ignore certain things, which is possible. But even then that is only a personal preference and not a way to organise society.
@dream14302 жыл бұрын
Well, with regard to your last part, I don’t think he’d ever argue that open relationships are a better dynamic for society; and, I think empirically even, the sort of instability open relationship tend to have, for most people, creates significantly worse outcomes for children. So, I don’t think he’d be so stupid to say that, if remember correctly, he actually probably agree that we shouldn’t organize society in that way

@jonmacdonald21932 жыл бұрын
Ive heard destiny say this multiple times now, and I think its very misinformaed, its in regards to "woman wont date down". I agree with his overall point if you frame it in the way he said it, but the problem with it is the "dating down" talking point is specifically about socio-economic value, and hypergamy. It was never about pointing out that woman are valued for their looks and men are valued for their production, every single red pilled person agrees with this. So woman generally don't date down and woman are hypergamous, but this was all within the frame of socio-economic value
@jedlee21942 жыл бұрын
I didn’t watch it but the assumption that Leo is dating down is absurd. Those women are in his league. They have as many options of men to date as Leo has of women. Women’s economic level is irrelevant when it comes to which league they are in.
@dream14302 жыл бұрын
@@0doublezero0 Well to be fair, I think you are missing the broader context here. A market correlate in of itself isn’t justification for different metrics for what is considered dating down, as I imagine what is considered “ dating down “ is not entirely used in the descriptive sense, and sort of has a moral consideration here as well. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong about this assumption, hear me out: The term seems to be to me, premised with the assumption of an equal standard when assessing what is “dating down “ between the two sex’s since originally, it was used as a critique of women not reframing their societal expectations despite now having comparable economic success to men, and now being able to play the game economically with the same rules. This is leverage men gave up due to feminism, so men’s response here is like, ok now that we’ve given you this thing, why are you still functioning as if this is previous market state. The argument I often see here is, if women and men are held to the same standard, women are almost never dating down; and, it’s this very difference in rules for the game that leads guys to take the red-pill, and make this 80-20 argument. Because, according to this new superimposed market, what ends up being the case is the only men that are dating down is the wealthiest 20 percent, making the other 80 percent something women consider “ dating down”. Men don’t think it’s fair for it to be thought this way because it leads to this weird state of the average man no longer being good enough for the average women when this beauty part is not taken out of the equation, which ironically, is just more TRP and black pill fuel, because women are just becoming more and more advantaged in the dating market. It leads to this recognition that women don’t care about being “fair”, so they turn into these Uber pragmatic borderline sociopathic dating demons to compensate for the skewed market. You see how this goes full circle ? There is a double standard in the dating market, women broke down the double standards disadvantageous to them, and continue to hold men to the traditional standard. Aba and Preach have an old video showing this phenomenon: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gWrClH1vbrqsoZY I might have not expressed myself well since i am extremely hungover, but what I am trying to say here is, super imposing these markets, and having women consider 80 percent of men dating down after incorporating beauty, is just an argument in support of TRP, and idk if destiny wants to do that.

Honestly, the open here is so true. Like, a lot of US are probably open to a casual sexual relationship or even an open relationship, although many of us aren’t… but it’s not so foreign a concept to us that we don’t understand that it’s possible and that two people who actually love eachother could do that and be successful in their relationships. To other people who come from more conservative backgrounds… that’s just not a thing that they would ever agree is A) Possible, B) Desirable, and C) Not just cuckoldry by another name. You have to realize that these peoples entire concept of masculinity is providing for a woman so that she doesn’t need to go elsewhere and doesn’t want to. It’s not even a thought in their mind that they could be not enough for any woman in which they would cheat on them if it weren’t some fatal defect in the woman that makes them like ontologically unlovable or unworthy of them in the first place. So the fact that Destiny would even argue the point is to concede in their mind that he’s delusional and doesn’t take himself seriously as a man and she’s warped him so far that he’s no longer to be taken seriously on anything because he’s not really a man by their definition. If he skips over this point, it doesn’t look like it’s some sore spot to him that he needs to justify to these people because he needs them to see him in the same way they see theirselves, it’s more of him just conceding that okay we’re different but he doesn’t feel the need to convince me that it’s superior or equal to my conception of manhood. Of course, some subsection of that kind of community is always going to believe Destiny is incapable of being intelligent or right because of it, but it gives enough people an out that they don’t have to defend their concept of masculinity to him that he’s not seen as challenging their worldview in such a fundamental way as to be no longer worth listening to.
@spinmaster69952 жыл бұрын
Kyle, Fresh, Fit, and Sneako have said numerous times if a woman cheats on you it's because she doesn't respect you, and it's just in their nature, not because they're ontologically unlovable or unworthy. @Ohhelmno2 жыл бұрын
@@spinmaster6995 well, I’m not necessarily critiquing them specifically so much as the audiences that would potentially be listening, and more so that I think Destiny is correct in his assessment that pushing back on the claims that he’s a cuck would necessarily be considered a cope or weakness on Destiny’s part that he’s not enough man to satisfy her or whatever. However, specifically in this I’d be referring to specific women who wouldn’t be swayed from an open relationship, that if they wouldn’t be convinced my these men implementing that advice obviously they wouldn’t consider them to be compatible or lovable in their framework, cause that’s not just a girl cheating but having a fundamentally different view on monogamy and whether it’s even cheating to have an open relationship… like fundamentally they wouldn’t be monogamous and that doesn’t seem to square with their view of women at all, so I don’t think they’d pursue that type of woman knowing that information anyways.

The issue with RP talking points are usually they focus on descriptive claims (hence “Red Pill”, showing you the truth and breaking the illusion of the Matrix). But then as they keep talking about it, they start mixing in the normative claims that it should be like that and people should adhere to that because it’s the natural way. But then contradict themselves by saying things are changing and that’s why everything is fucked. Red pill starts by saying we can’t fight evo biology, then ends by saying we should act in accordance to our biology and we’re not doing that now. If you challenge them on if it SHOULD be that way. They fall back to, it has to be this way because we’re designed this way so it’s pointless to talk about it women and men could have different dynamics. This is coming from someone who’s fairly red pilled tbh.

I think they could just say (if they're smart and really thought about this) that you CAN fight evo biology, but it's a losing battle and really stupid because we're better when we work WITH our biology rather than against it. Then to substantiate the point, talk about how women aren't as good workers as men for biological reasons. Depending on how bad their period is, it can make them less effective at work or even call in sick entirely. There's always the worry that they'll get pregnant which means they won't be working for at least a few months. Most women are happier taking care of the kids than working a job to support the family.

What? The entire point of the RP and especially on fresh and fit is indeed about breaking the illusion of the matrix. But you're just not making sense. There is nothing contradictory. They want men to stop working against their own biological imperatives, the behavior of which stems from societal/cultural programming in the modern era. And to stop pedestalizing women and deluding themselves into thinking they're better than they are, or that they are morally superior, innocent, or empathize with male struggles. There is simply nothing in this argument that is antithetical to evolutionary biology. You can certainly program people to act against their own best interest, and we should as a society stop doing that, stop taking advantage of people growing up by programming in a way that hurts them for the benefit of others.

24:30 That is my argument also. When they talk about hypergamy, they are correct. Woman dates (not f#ck) man that are on their level or above in terms of status and money. But they never look at other side, man are also hypergamous in terms of looks and sexual value. Man usually date woman that are better looking than them.

open relationship isnt really a thing anyway. Either u have a casual relationship where u have sex and dont give a fuck about the other person and u and that other person can do what he and she wants Or u have a monogamous relationship where u do give a fuck and have feelings for eachother and u dont see other people. I have a really hard time picturing a 3rd alternative mixing them all together being a viable option for a sane person.
@Nomishko2 жыл бұрын
This.. It's never an "open relationship" it's about one person wanting to fuck other people while still getting the benefits from the person they dated (either money, status, safety whatever) and the other person being genuinely blinded by their hotness (since usually guys end up in an open relationship unfortunately) and they just nod to it.. Then they are trying so hard to explain why it's a normal thing and makes sense meanwhile it's just a total bullshit.. As you said, either you fuck whoever you want and don't care about them or you DO care about the person and you stay loyal.
@AJweathersby2 жыл бұрын
It’s actually increasingly becoming the norm, especially for men who have the money and options to do so. Imagine it working the same as a conventional relationship, but there’s no such thing as “cheating”. And as long as they don’t throw it in each other’s face during arguments, I’m sure it works fine.

19:36 Fail. People act on incentives. All of them. If someone is calling out the danger of engaging in behaviour, that makes someone happy only short-term and messes things up longterm, this someone is talking about mechanism. The mechanisms are true for Florida night club girls, average women, all sorts of career women, below average women. The "they focus only on women like x and y, thus it isn't really true..." talking point is missing the point.

Why is this dude trying to convince people to be in an open relationship? To me that is bizarre. Let people do what they want in a relationship and you do you. I had a couple trying to convince me to do an open relationship one time and I was like WTF? If you are into that, go to it but I have no interest. I think the divide might be similar to gay vs straight, either you are into it or you aren't.
@sebastiansirvas15302 жыл бұрын
Hypergamy has arguably left its mark in our genes since, when one compares Y chromosome variability vs mitochondrial DNA variability, we can estimate that around 8-10k years ago one male reproduced for every 17 females that did. Now the problem is not nearly as bad (thanks to cultural tech such as marriage and the development of civilization), but worse than the recent past due to the "globalization" of the sexual market, so to speak. The widest mismatch happened during the (technological) neolithic agricultural revolution. The evolutionary (hunter-gatherer) trend is actually around 2:1 (genetic average). Civilization shifted the numbers closer to 1:1 (probably more like 1.2:1), and modernity (industrial revolution, birth control pill, no fault divorce, office jobs, affirmative actions, social media, etc.) is reverting it towards a 2:1 ratio again.
@cripplingautism57852 жыл бұрын
what is the basis for the assumption that the gap is all or mostly due to 'hypergamy'? you have to take into account men dying early in war and women being raped as spoils of war. i'd also expect to see wealthy polygamous men's genetic lineage to be overrepresented because it'd have a higher chance of surviving. also are you aware of whether or not the study controlled for the fact that the Y chromosome isn't passed on if the father only has daughters?
@sebastiansirvas15302 жыл бұрын
@@cripplingautism5785 War has only gotten more destructive, so it is unlikely that was the reason behind that bottleneck since the discrepancy does not follow the changes in war. In the paper that analyzed this gender fitness difference maximum they mention, if I remember well, the enabling of wealth accumulation (agriculture) is presented as one of the possible and most likely reasons (paired with hypergamy, but we could use another term if you think that one is charged). If you check the study, you must search for Ne (effective size I think its the term).
@cripplingautism57852 жыл бұрын
@@sebastiansirvas1530 nah apparently it is because of war between patrilineal clans that caused that genetic effect. the idea that each man who was reproducing was banging 17 women at once is honestly just dumb. there's no way that'd make for a sustainable society and also it'd cause massive inbreeding issues. Societies had developed and grown in complexity around extended kinship groups, many of which were patrilineal clans. While women effectively entered the clan upon marriage, the men in each clan were all related through male ancestors, and therefore would all have the same Y-chromosome. Naturally, this would only apply to each individual clan. Given geographical considerations, time, and intermarriage between clans, what was once a significant amount of variation in Y-chromosome differences would shrink to favor those who were strongest according to natural selection-and that is without the consideration of the additional wars fought for dominance and supremacy, which would add an extra factor into the ever-shrinking pool of Y-chromosomes. Testing of the hypothesis was done using mathematical models and computer simulations in which men fought and died for the resources their clans required for survival. The simulations displayed that wars between patrilineal clans caused drastic reductions in Y chromosome diversity over time, while conflict between the control group of non-patrilineal clans-defined as groups where both men and women could move between clans-did not.

@@cripplingautism5785 "As the drop of male to female Ne does not seem to be limited to a single or a few haplotypes (Supplemental Fig. S3), selection is not a likely explanation" Also the original statement was about the gender ratio of those that managed to reproduce and its relation to hypergamy, which would be mediated by increased male reproductive success chance that is partially culturally inherited (here increased wealth through accumulation, and social hierarchy, would play a role), associated in that particular disparity with changes in social structure (including how it is determined which members take the risk in case of conflict, specially through wealth/social status). It was not about if it is an stable state (in fact it was suggested the contrary) or how many females was the local chad banging while everyone just watched lol. The paper does mention competition between demes, so there is that too.

Exactly, Destiny's open relationship points are unwinnable because no one wants their girl to get railed by some other dude. Eventhough destiny keeps saying his bisexuality has nothing to do with it, it does because bisexual people feel different emotional attachments to their partners since they have a wider variety of people they are attracted especially with girls since they are also attracted to musculine girls as well as feminine girls and they feel the same for the male gender as well with them liking feminine and musculine males as well whereas full straight men are more attracted to just feminine women which is 1/4 of the dating market. destiny himself said he feels nothing when his girl sleeps with other guys but he fails to realize that almost all men won't turn a blind eye to it like he does. He himself said that the open relationship debate is unwinnable and I agree with him on that. He makes very good point on everything outside of dating advice. His dating advice is not the way.
@RanEncounter2 жыл бұрын
I don't think you have thought this through at all. Bisexual people can easily have a type of person they go for in a gender. For example they like feminine men and feminine women or vice versa. They also can have narrow windows that they see as sexual. But I guess you are making the point that in their view bisexuals are seen in that way.

Open relationships work honestly when people are either "forced to kinda deal with it" or "stable enough to ignore the relationship". Destiny is stable enough in his hobbies and work it doesn't matter whom she with. That's why it doesn't really work because a lot of people simply don't want to "deal with it" especially since it's kinda known in some open relationships the women gets tilted if her man is either bi or is pulling women "better" than her. Like she can have fun yet he can't that mindset alone is why it fails.

@popers13282 жыл бұрын
Well the first definition I found searching on DuckDuckGo was closest to what I was talking about but they all have a general idea about the world being fucked and there's nothing you can do to change it. "The Black Pill is a nihilistic philosophy, which is a tangent off of the Red Pill. Where the Red Pill exposes people to uncomfortable truths, the Black Pill ultimately states that there's nothing we can do about these truths, and that we should stop trying to change them." When Destiny called them out for not trying to push society in a positive direction and instead contributing to the very thing they complain about in the roundtable discussion they kept giving answers like "There's nothing we can do about it" or "we can't change the world." They are completely nihilistic about culture and have decided to just game the system for themselves rather than try to improve anything. They might think their philosophy is red pill is and say that because it gets more clicks but black pill to me seems more accurate as it demonstrates their lack of virtue.

Dude I’m the first 8 minutes could not be more wrong. The quickest way for Destiny to just automatically lose all arguments to their audience would be going into the defense of his open relationship. I don’t know how this guy doesn’t see that?? Is it just a social awareness thing? Like he has to have never interacted with red pill people before to believe that. Also he then says we’ll okay you might lose credibility so instead he advocates for slightly more push back and move on? Why? That gains you nothing in this conversation only makes you lose credibility to their audience. So what purpose would “Planting the seed” have? Absolutely zero. Now if the whole podcast was about open relationships, then fucking go in in that shit. But Destiny 100% played it right in order to not lose the audience. When brought up just said “yep” in a blasé manner pretty and kept it moving. Didn’t give the audience a bunch of time to focus in on that, when he wouldn’t have a sufficient chance to defend it anyways

I listen to a lot of people "on the right". That's what makes this so fun. I like that he is able to throw himself into the pit. I still disagree on some stuff with destiny. But he's right on a lot of the redpill shit. I'm just happy that he has reached across the aisle, and he is pretty patient and respectful. This is needed in our political climate. He is more brave than most of these people. Throwing himself out there in a place where he knows people are against him. I might disagree, but he has my full respect.
@richcohen59362 жыл бұрын
