Anger is an emotion but when you say "emotional" people don't think of anger. If someone says that the exam was so hard that I got "emotional". Most people would assume that the person started crying or whatever rather than that they got angry. Same as when someone says they got angry it generally isn't communicated by saying that they got emotional. It doesn't really matter if anger is an emotion or not when the way the word "emotional" is generally used doesn't include anger.
@SuperiorRobyn
@SuperiorRobyn Жыл бұрын
Not only that, anger is a secondary emotion, with feelings like sadness often being behind it.
@zooweellama
@zooweellama Жыл бұрын
@@shgalagalaa "Anger is an emotion but when you say "emotional" people don't think of anger." thats more of a societal problem and not a logical stance. the word "Emotional" SHOULD include every emotion but thats just how we evolved as a society. its frowned upon for men to cry and since there is a strong bias against women, when they show more sadness, "emotional" is used as an insult. The manospere wouldnt be able to thrive as much as it does now if the word was originally used to include all emotions and not just an insult to women.
@shgalagalaa
@shgalagalaa Жыл бұрын
@@zooweellama It doesnt matter what "should" be the case. What matters is how the language is used currently. You are free to try and change how language is used but before the change actually happens my statement remains true. Your whole response is just about being mad that a word is used differently than you would like. You arent saying anything. At no point was it a "logical stance". It was an objective look at how the word is actually used in language. You are free to think that it should be used differently but that doesn't matter. Your conclusion that the "manosphere wouldn't be able to thrive as much as it does now..." isn't even a logical conclusion of your world where "emotional" includes anger as the people who believe in the shit that is being said can just use different wording to drive the same message. As they clearly do not consider anger to be a bad emotion to have there is no reason to believe that they would suddenly treat it the same as other emotions just because the word is suddenly being used "correctly"

Yeah they are just sex tourists/dating coaches labelling themselves as red pill. They confused the message about breeding. Its not about ploughing every field, its meant to be about ploughing the most fertile field. Finding a high level wife and having a relationship where u both treat each other like kings and queens, We also need to take into account of the ages of these people, most are under 30. They are giving life advice while still experiencing life, its no different to college kids telling adults "how dare you" as if they know anything. If ur going to take dating advice, try someone thats married with kids. If you're going to take life advice, try somone thats failed a few times and then succeeded, u will learn how to fail and learn and how to rise above it when the chips are down. Find a partner that loves your flaws, because thats what real love it, slowly accepting their flaws until its what u miss about them. Thats true love. Or my interpretation. Real love is probably more along the lines of companionship.

A sincere thanks to men like DESTINY. You articulated so well lots of points women have tried to make forever. As a black woman I can say there is often violence and vitriol for the BW that want to speak out against the narratives lots of misogynistic black men especially have been speaking in public spaces online , in music etc. The black man in this video was a perfect example of the ignorance, anti intellectual and aggressively off base rhetoric many black women and girls and even children are exposed to and have to live under. I am glad these males are actively exposing themselves. I am glad men like destiny are taking them on and speaking truth to their manipulative and dangerous rhetoric. At this point I hope Black women gain the strength and foresight to see that this needs to be tackeld and dismantled by us not allowing it to go unchallenged and played out for the future generations of especially black women and girls.

Tbh most of Destiny's 10 points were really just 5 points repeated over and over. Is it really that hard to understand that someone can get frustrated about that ? That Bernard guy really made some good points and Destiny was trying to evade that by changing the focal point of the conversation constantly It started with Destiny saying men need to be more emotional with women than they were before but he doesn't actually substantiate that as the other guy said. Destiny assumes that traditional men weren't dealing with the emotional needs of women and themselves which is a hard thing to prove or disprove for anyone right from the get go When Destiny said that men on women violence in abusive relationships is a bigger problem, Bernard brought in data to prove the opposite and what was Destiny's response, "Well it's not like women can cause actual damage" like bro wtf, that doesn't make it ok 💀 Destiny was backtracking on the points he was trying to make so fast because he knew he was being cornered with this stuff. Destiny debates well but he made the mistake of believing that Bernard would be the typical ideologue for the redpill like Fresh N Fit and that was disastrous for him

I actually appreciate Destiny arguing on this topic because the INCEL / Redpill community talks a lot of "old fashioned shit" when discussing dating strategies but the reality is they know fuck-all. It boggles the mind that anyone would listen to these guys who don't appear to have healthy relationships, are terminally single, or are just looking to hook-up. Its always the same old talking points (men need to be leaders, men need to be high value), always talking at a high level, none of which applies to the average person trying to get a date. I'm an older man who has seen his fair share of relationships and I just worry for the rhetoric being shilled out by the "manosphere" to our young men. "Redpilling" these young dudes is not helping them or society and the more that figures like Destiny speak out and argue against this stuff, the more chance these young men have.

Looks like he watches the game every Sunday after picking up his wife's Maxipads at Walmart. Yeah tbh I think Destiny was running for the hills at some points trying to defend himself against Bernard because he was making some good points. Destiny said that men need to be more emotional in the modern world. Fair enough, but that would require him to show evidence that that didn't exist before and that men were abusive. He didn't really do that and just admitted he made a generalization that he's still going to plant his feet firmly on When he raised the point that women suffer at the hands of men in abusive relationships, the Bernard guy actually came back with data to support the opposite. At this point Destiny was scrambling for anything, so he said "yeah but what physical damage can a woman really do ?" Like how does that matter to the argument ? Destiny in trying to prove men need to up their emotional game didn't realise that the data Bernard brought shows women aren't much better at controlling this in abusive relationships anyway. So it's a moot point and that's what Bernard was trying to argue. To be honest, Destiny was losing this debate partly because he wasn't trying to have an honest debate with this guy. He assumed that just because Bernard was redpill, he'd be the mouthpiece for Fresh N Fit which was absolutely not the case. Had Angryman not jumped in and shit all over the whole thing, Destiny would've probably lost the debate after running around in circles running out of strawmans

on the whole women like a leader thing, when i talk to female friends and read all-female forums, I DON'T think thats what *most* are looking for. And I think Myron confuses COMPETENCE, with a BOSS. Women very much like COMPETENCE. that hasn't changed. and competence will show up sometimes in you being a good leader sure, but sometimes it means being a good team player, not necessarily the director. We want men we don't have to nanny. This doesn't mean I want to defer to your judgment all the time. I respect my husband, and i respect him because he's competent. He also happens to be a pretty good leader at work. But at home, I don't like being barked orders at. And sometimes when he goes with my input on something over his own, i REALLY appreciate that. and if he ever tried to say "at the end of the day, its my decision"...on something that impacts both of us? oof, we would have problems. on things that impact both of us, we mutually talk things out to hear each others reasoning and we try to let the better reasoning win. No i dont want a man to control me or tell me what to do. I just want a man thats competent. theres a biiiiig difference.

The fact that BW have to come to a WM’s channel to hear a man talk sensibly about the truth on the dynamics between men and women….🤦🏽‍♀️. I’m not just speaking as a person with a few degrees when I say these dudes have no valid talking points and would gain 0 points in a moderated debate. Destiny has patience because once you say 2 things that you have not actually done your research on, I’d send you to your equal because she is not in my vicinity.

I'd hate to be them or be partnered with them... The future isn't looking too bright for these types or anyone who chooses to entertain them and their garbage. I’m glad discussions like these are happening. I think a lot of these guys are used to sitting in echo chambers and their ideals have gone way too far. I can barely distinguish some of these guys from black pillers. I couldn’t even finish the video. And that’s not to mention the race segment. Dear lord. It seems like they always evolve into a Bm/BW bashing contest.

I also admire that about Myron because it shows that they are genuinely trying to understand and remember what the other person is saying, and making sure they cover all of those points. The problem is that most men don’t actually have any confidence. This is why people care so much about open relationships. Anybody who doesn’t want to be in an open relationship is simply just jealous and insecure and knows that they can’t keep a woman’s attention if they aren’t tying her down. The moment she has a taste of a real man, they know that she will leave because they don’t provide any real satisfaction.

Hi Destiny, I am so sorry you had to go through this as it's very frustrating. Let me tell you the underlying issue. These men don't like black women, therefore nothing you say that shows them in any bad light or black women in good light will ever go well. They'll always deflect from it. We can talk about how we're not majoring in basket weaving or art and show them real statistics that shows the opposite of that they simply deflect and want to focus on us twerking in churches and how we're such hoes. We're hoes but they are teaching men to pump and dump with us and then we hit this proverbial wall. BM don't make sense and they contradict themselves at every turn and why? Because they do not like us. Instead of saying, we don't like black women and we're failures in our community they simply choose to deflect.
