I can provide that same (or better) lifestyle to myself without his obvious controlling and obnoxious personality. No thanks. I am good on that. 😂 I am glad one guy metioned that women outlive men. That's been my personal experience. All of my elder female family members are widowed and are living alone anyway. Typically women don't get taken care by men at the end, they are taken care by other women in their lives. There are a few exceptions to this but no woman should assume they will have a male partner until the end even if things go well, that's just not what the stats say will happen. I don't mind an imperfect man. We are all imperfect. But I refuse to live thru mistreatment, abuse, infidelity, controlling, or belittling behavior. I am not settling for financial and emotional manipulation when my life is this peaceful already. It's laughable that some men think that I would ever put myself thru that to say I have a man. I can show you better than I can tell you that I am not going to do that. I am grown. I don't have to do anything but pay my taxes and die one day. Settling for a man I don't like is optional and I decline. I chose peace in my heart and life. I am so excited by all the things I get to do in this life. I got 99 problems but a man ain't one.

I can see why he's having trouble getting someone to have a relationship or "settle" with him. Even if you use the definition of come to an agreement, she doesn't have to because she doesn't have to deal with men. You either agree with her or you don't get her. Compromise means to accept standards that are lower than us desirable. Women don't even have to compromise to have a man because a man is nothing of value in and of himself.
