I get that it's a pure training tool. I get that you can replace the cup & that this is (for what it is & ment to do) the best solution... But those screws on the cup really are an eyesore.

Excellent review. Been wondering about one of these. Any idea how the flex looks for SCA (ie how much tip deflection with 6oz weight on the tip? )?

Something I need to try. I would say it's safe enough for SCA if I was marshalling, it feels like a SCA/HEMA Castille Elite. It's definitely better for C&T, but should still be on the borderline safe for regular SCA rapier.
