Nah you guys just need to learn to deflect grab and vanish/counter. It wasnt hard to pick up the ladder if you played a lot, especially online EVEN tho it was rare to find a good connection game let alone someone with the same skill level. Ppl used to spam Omega Shenron in the lag cuz dragon thunder was just such a efficient, almost ultimate level damage, and tilting as fuck to watch the cutscene in slow mo

It can be done, though. As long as you avoid the grab, you can image phase behind him and pummel with a combo that knocks him to the ground. It opens him up for the Kamehameha, or Dragon Rush and keep applying that pressure.

Honestly the first time I fought him I almost beat him with straight hands. The problem is I still revert to some Tenkaichi 3 controls that are not in this game and throws me off After that I lost a couple times just to get used to his blast spamming then I gave Goku an extra bar health and kicked his ass grabs weren't that much of an issue maybe only got caught two or three times

@@dbztranks6601 you have to be in his eye sight, as in, you have to fly near his face and do it. He can't sense Ki, once he loses you, he can't find you at all.

To anyone who is struggling with this, keep spamming your sparkling zero and beat him down with it using just regular punches. Whenever he goes into the cutscene where he blasts at you, just block it and keep repeating the sparkling zero till he's dead.

The way you handle this fight is abusing high tension (purple ki mode) and firing a kamehameha when your combo sends vegeta flying. You can easily beat this fight really fast.

This is the strategy I figured out to use too. Spirit bomb wouldn’t work for some reason, so I had to spam regular Super attacks. Getting him to beam clash is also a good way to win.

Sparking Mode breaks through his super armor, so if you can land a punch you can start a basic rush combo then end it with your ultimate. Thats how I beat him, just repeat that 2-3 times

A method (it works) to beat great ape vegeta is to basically go sparking mode. Then spam punch. It takes alot of damagae quickly.

Its really not bad at all, avoid kai o ken since it wont work even while completely blinded by solar flair. Charge ki if downtime, use beam if able, solar flair if he ever approaches. Incredibly easy fight.
