It just goes to show - If you're willing to throw enough time, money and parts at something, anything can be restored to near perfect condition. It's an Individual choice as to whether the cost is justifiable. Having said that, I am really pleased that there are people like your good self who are willing to do so and then share it all with us.

AWESOME VIDEO. Im a farm kid from Illinois (now 61 years old) and have a real passion for old equipment od all kinds especially garden tractors. I have a 1968 Case 155 i use all the time for little work around my 1/2acre lot on the edge of town in Mesa Az. One day I hope to restore it to its former glory! GOOD WORK and thanks

Unbelievably well executed restoration. The attention to detail that was put into it shows the love someone has for this machine.

Every time you talk on your Daggerwin channel about how long these restorations take, I don’t doubt it-I know the feeling (and the time it takes you to restore it doesn’t even include the editing, and not to mention the filming)! But the restorations are always worth it in the end! Nice work, as always!

What a great restoration. You can clearly see the time it takes you to do these, I think you went through you entire yearly outfits for spring summer autumn and winter. And nice to see an appearance of virtual Dagerwin, even if it was only his feet for a fleeting glance, along with his dog aswell. Keep up the good work. One last thing have you ever thought of doing an outtakes video, I am sure you must have some on the cutting room floor of mishaps and errors. Thanks again loving your dedication to restoration.

Your ability to source parts for the mowers and make new decals etc is truly impressive
@jesterr71336 ай бұрын
Restoring old mowers like this is a challenge that is not for the faint of heart. I am in the process of restoring a 16 year old Craftsman mower with a 26hp Kohler Courage and a 54 inch cutting deck. It is a behemoth, and sourcing parts has been quite the challenge. I understand why you don't put out a lot of restoration videos. I have been working on this one for 17 months. I am nearly finished, but I have been waiting three weeks on a bracket that I need to make the brakes functional again. It is not easy, especially when you are dealing with rust. I broke both bolts for the pulleys on the brake bracket, 11 out of 12 spindle mounting bolts, and all three blade mounting bolts. Dealing with the rust takes some patience. Thankfully, the deck on mine only had one tiny pinhole. I am still in the process of teaching myself to weld, so I am not ready for any major jobs yet.
