I’d expect a multi-billion dollar company like EA to deliver a game better than an indie developer. But it’s disappointing for EA that Battlefield 2042 is being closely compared to an "unimpressive free-to-play" shooter still in alpha. For Battlefield fans, it should be refreshing to see a non-profit-driven team working on a game similar to Battlefield. This new team might be what we need to get a battlefield-like game that appeals to the majority
