Well known ARMY line: Your bias' bias is Jhope. As for being comfortable with compliments, I think the rap line are the most awkward with compliments. It's so endearing. The way BTS sincerely love and support each other is healing for me, it makes me more optimistic towards people in general. 💜

I think it's always been the case that Hobi is the member that connects everyone together (the boys have said as much before several times going back to their earliest days even) but it's been even more evident since they went on their break because we see Hobi interacting with every single one of them. Dinners or phone calls or tennis with Jin, baseball (or soccer?) games and traveling with Jimin, industry events with Namjoon, etc, and he's always the first to share photos of their adventures or interact online. He's like the heart at the center of Bangtan and it's so clear how much the boys cherish him. As ARMY always says, "Your bias' bias is Hobi." It gives me the warm and fuzzies.

btw those coffee trucks cost a lot! hobi wanted to support yoongi’s filming for daechwita by sending a coffee/snacks truck, and usually those are decorated full of support messages and pictures of the person theyre sending it to. its extra cute that the coffee truck company asked hobi to send pictures of him too and them together (sope) to decorate it. you can tell so much that yoongi loved this surprise and is being adorably cheeky about it 🥺😭

Hobi used to play Tennis when he was young, but he is really humble, so the rest of the guys hyped him up because he is really good in it. He is a giver and listener, he has no issues with giving hugs, love nice words, but he has really troubled receiving it and doesn't know how to handle it. He is the one that received a lot of cyber and online attacks about his Talents, Appearance when they started out. Even from the Korean fandom because he is from Gwangju people from Gwangju to this day face regional discrimination in South Korea, because that's where the Democratic Movement started and lots of far right media, people, politicians, right wing forums. It's still systematic so people from there have issues getting into Jobs, Apartments and Universities. That's why BTS having Songs like Ma City, or their Dialect Rap early in their Career, were really high risks.

A trivia about Hobi/BTS : Hobi, Tae & Jimin used to be roommates in their 2nd dorm. When they shifted to another bigger dorm, and would have their own separate rooms, Jimin asked him if he can still share the room with him, as he doesn't like to be alone. And the precious Hobi easily agreed for his younger brother. How sweet is that 😩😩❤️ And you know there was an era when Jimin was extremely active on Twitter... Hobi once was gone to his hometown I guess, And Jimin had tweeted funny dramatic posts with his video, who's dramatically holding onto Hobi's picture, and is like "Hobi Hyung Where are yoh... Come back soon" lol it was sooo funny bcoz that is how we got to know Hobi was in hometown 😂😂😂😂😂 They are shoooo cute ❤️💜

Jimin showed up at Lollapalooza because JHope mentioned he wasn't doing well i.e. not eating or sleeping. His room was always dark. Just having Jimin there he was able to eat and sleep. JHope lost some weight during this time. 💜

I wouldn't put it that way. He definitely loves himself and acknowledges his strengths. That's like a central theme in his lyrics. And he has always been the member most comfortable in his own skin. But he's got a growth mindset and is just constantly looking for ways to improve or hone his craft. I'm not saying he doesn't have insecurities--everyone does--but I think his unwillingness to take compliments is a product of his humility and gratitude and discomfort with being publicly vulnerable than any kind of self-consciousness.

There's a long running joke in BTS where the guys used to say that Hobi played tennis when he was younger and he won a bronze medal in competition (with a lot of pride) however there were only three teams!
