The only thing that has helped my edges thicken up so far is, sleeping with my bonnet pulled back from my edges, and also just using water and hair grease. Yep, grease. I add water to my edges first, then add grease. Oil just wasn't helping my edges much. I didn't include my edges in the locs either. I think it allows them to breathe. It's healthier for the locs to not be in locs, if they are thin.
