Hey everyone as some of you know we lusted after the Aston Martin Vanquish for many years before bringing this beauty to the channel. While the 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish is climbing again in value, the Aston Martin Vanquish is still one of the best values in grand touring exotic cars. We did our best to make a long-format review video on the Aston Martin Vanquish that we hope you will enjoy.
0:00 - 1:44 Introduction
1:45 - 4:04 Exterior Styling & Upgrades Overview
4:05 - 7:59 Interior Styling
8:00 - 10:44 V12 Engine Oveview
10:45 - 19:57 POV Driving
19:58 Conclusion
For around $120-$130k you get a ton of bespoke hand-built glory designed by the legendary David Brown and Henrik Fisker. Yes, the same Fisker (ticker FSR) developing the new electric Ocean SUV.
So when we went hunting for the perfect spec'd Aston Martin Vanquish, we eventually found this and worked out a deal. However, it was not a quick or easy process. After a few months, and one deal that fell through, I picked this Storm Black on Pepper Red/Obsidian 2014 Aston Martin. This video is our "all in" Aston Martin Vanquish review and thoughts having had it now for a week.
Per this Aston Martin Vanquish Review, we cover the exterior upgrades, interior design, discuss the V12 powerplant, the ZF transmission, and take a POV drive all in 4K. We really hope you like our new Aston Martin Vanquish review.
We really love the 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish, and we think very few exotic cars will age better than the Vanquish. While it's not perfect and won't scare you with it's performance, the ZF 6 speed transition on the Aston Martin Vanquish works well. Sure the 6 speed is not as good as a Ferrari F12, but it shifts so smooth and it’s bulletproof.
The sound the V12 makes on the Aston Martin Vanquish is the best part of this vehicle. The 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish V12 powerplant makes 575 horses and gets around 15 MPG. Aston Martin Vanquish features a linear naturally aspired powerplant that loves to run out. The V12 engine is hand-built, as is the entire car. In fact, the Aston Martin Vanquish is entirely built of carbon fiber and aluminum. However, Aston Martin Vanquish still weighs in at almost 3,900 pounds so the Vanquish is not exactly a Lotus.
The 2014 Aston Martin suspension is on point too. Truly the Vanquish suspension is subtle, but at the same time very “ride on rails” sporty. The One 77 steering wheel is comfortable and just makes the Aston Martin Vanquish feel like something special in your arms. Frankly, the entire interior on the Aston Martin Vanquish just speaks quality and craftsmanship.
This 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish review near the beginning discusses this car's spec sheet which had an MSRP of $327k. So this Aston Martin Vanquish is one of the highest optioned Aston Martin Vanquishes anywhere in the world. We are blessed to feature this Aston Martin Vanquish on the channel. Keep in mind that price was in 2014 dollars! We also discuss the value proposition considering these vehicles are going for only 30-40% of their original MSRP.
Look forward to your comments and thank you for subscribing! Means the 🌎 to me and thank you for watching!

Great video. Normally, I am not a fan of carbon fiber or alcantara (prefer paint & leather) but your AM has it done tastefully and looks great.

Thank you for sharing! I also prefer exposed carbon like on a McLaren or Pagani, but this car pulls it off.

Absolutely amazing car! Didn’t notice all the carbon till this video, you’re right about it blending. Though nothing will ever beat the way you start it. For me, that is just the coolest shit ever😂 Those red guts really do it for me too! Aston’s are just the coolest exotic/daily driver you can get.

Beautiful car! I had a 2005 DB9 and enjoyed it immensely! I miss that car very much! My DB9 needed nothing but gas and oil during my ownership and was very reliable. Wish I could say the same about my experience with Porsche! I think the Vanquish will be my next supercar.

Amazing. I'm going to buy a 2015 or 2016 Carbon. The only question i have is between a coupe or the Volante? I'm in the high desert so lots of sun in the summer,but cant make my mind up..any thoughts? Also one of the best Vanquish videos i have watched. Thx

Great spec Adam. The only people that "get" these cars are the ones that have driven them. Even just idling is more fun in that thing. lol. BTW you have to drive the 8 speed, feels just like the Porsche pdk, that's my next one.
@Driven-Productions
@Driven-Productions 2 жыл бұрын
I do agree you pay a bit more but the 8 speed makes this car better. It’s faster, better fuel economy, and just more fun to drive. I’ve never personally driven the 8 speed ZF but I hear good things. Still can’t say its as good as the PDK though.

There is a lot more carbon fiber than you are saying. You point out the "visible" carbon. Most of the car is carbon.... it's just painted.

- “I have it in chill mode” has it in sport mode - Mispronounced “Audi” - Mispronounced “crescendo” - Not a ZF box - “Not Camaro ZL1 fast” they have basically the same acceleration numbers -6th gear is not an overdrive gear -Claims the sound system cost $8k then admits it came standard -So many of the “options” he listed are standard -Driven the car 3 times (including this video and the drive home) yet somehow has concrete opinions on all drivability and performance aspects I don’t trust a word this guy says😂 wonder how many of these lines were regurgitated from the salesman

Spoken like someone who has one? Going on three years now my man with mine. Appreciate you taking the time to watch and hate though. Few clarifications though. The 2014 Vanquish is slower than a ZL1 1LE Camaro, 2015-2018’s with the ZF 8 speed are more inline, but still slower. Its a GT car, not a track car. Yes, it has a ZF transmission Touchtronic II. 6th is absolutely an overdrive gear, if you want good power best to keep it in in 5th on the highway. Tells me you have not driven one. B&O was not standard on the DB9, was a costly upgraded. Was included for the $278,295 MSRP on the Vanquish. Yes this one has almost every option with an MSRP noted in the video of $325,275. Not sure what you mean on driving three times, maybe saw my first video on it which was shot during my first week of ownership? This was shot almost a year in. Unfortunately, no salesman. Bought her private party sight unseen no test drive either. Picking her up was my first experience with it. On the other stuff, yeah I suck on camera who knows why anyone watches. But, we try

I can't see this as a Vanquish, to me this is a dressed up DB9 and the real Vanquish died in 2007...Is too sporty, not so luxurious, don't have the same care on details as the real Vanquish. Cool car but not a Vanquish.
