This is my second Keurig Coffee Brewer. kzbin.infoUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf The first one lasted 6 years. It worked beautifully until the day it didn't. It was hard to go back to the drip coffee for a couple of days while I waited on my Keurig to get here. There is a huge difference in the taste. Keurig makes a really good cup of coffee. This new one is a little different from my old one. I find putting the water filter in was easier than on the old one. Attaching the water reservoir was also a little different but once I figured it out, it too was easier. This new one has the auto off feature but is not programmable like the old one. Only three cup sizes instead of four. The odd thing for me was how much lighter in weight this one is compared to my old one. More plastic and much less metal in the construction of this one. The price is so much less than the original Keurig that I bought and the coffee tastes the same so all in all I am satisfied.

You are amazing. Companies should hire you to present their products because you do an extremely, thorough job, better than I've ever seen. My friend gave me her Keurig. She only used it once. However, she didn't give me the manual and I am not a coffee drinker (I'm designing my guest room like a hotel room) so I needed to learn how to use this machine. You are a talking manual. I don't need the booklet at all. I am ready to buy the cups now and will have my first cup of coffee with my Keurig. lol. Thank you so much. Just a friendly tip before you buy this, if your kitchen outlets are arc fault outlets (GFCI) this coffee maker will trip your breaker. I had a K Elite before this and that didn't happen. What I believe is happening is that the K Supreme Plus does not heat the water in the internal reservoir on startup like the K Elite did -- instead it heats it every-time you brew a cup. This process draws a lot of power and in turn trips the circuit breaker all the time. **SOLUTION: Simply plug a true surge protector into your GFCI outlet and plug the K Supreme Plus into the surge protector. This regulates the current and stops the breaker from tripping. It's working for me.

Good choice! Its a great coffee maker, Check out my Descale videos when you descale light comes on, it comes on after 250 brews no matter what, even if you machine is not dirty on the inside. Other than that it brew a great coffee!

What a thorough video. Keurig should be paying for this! I like a reasonably strong cup but I also like a large (that 7" travel cup) too. Maxwell house usually uses 1oz of coffee per k cup pod. Others are slightly less per pod.

Great video I didn't know until a couple weeks ago that keurig had an over ice mode when I saw the keurig elite one at target on display but didn't have any in stock then I noticed this one and the regular Supreme at Walmart for 169 a couple days ago today was a cool day cause not only did I come across this video but I also found at my local Walmart for only 92 and change compared to 169 where it is at every other Walmart and online

I brew my coffee in a stainless steel Starbucks mug which I have had for YEARS! Keeps the coffee hot for a couple of hours. I have noticed that when I use a ceramic or stoneware mug the coffee cools quickly.

I modified mine to brew even hotter. When I started the water temp was around the same as yours, usually 185 sometimes 190 on the high end if it was on max. Now after adding a couple resistors, I now have a 198-202f temp, 100x's better! sometimes I will preheat the mug so it doesn't act as a big a heat sink. This model was much harder in finding the proper resistor value vs other ones I've owned

Great videos! I have been under the impression that 6 oz isn't necessarily stronger, just smaller. Of course if you chose 12 oz it would be weaker because there's only so much flavor in 2 tbsp of coffee. I have an old 525C from Costco (abt 5+ yrs? of daily use) in our kitchen, one of the K Mini Plus in our bedroom (2 yrs of random use) and the original 1 fill at a time (K Mini?) in the RV. I have a Keurig username and their app on my phone. I have pods sent to me on auto delivery and bought my K Mini Plus with rewards points. So I've been watching these newer K Plus models because I'm expecting my 525C to quit some morning! It has a "program it and leave it" temperature setting and a strong option before each brew. I love it but it is big, bulky, and filling the reservoir is clumsy. I'm one of those people you mentioned who fill it with a small pitcher. When it was next to the sink sprayer I filled it with that but sun coming in caused algae growth so I had to move it to the other side! Again, great videos! I may decide to give away my old machine instead of waiting for it to die and get this one soon!

I just ordered this Keurig. Your tutorial is excellent! I’ll barely have to open the manual when I receive it. The features are excellent but would have been nice if they had integrated an automatic cup disposal system. I have a Nespresso but when I finally found a flavor I liked, it was discontinued and now their selection is even more limited than before. I would also receive the reorder of cups in a day and now it takes about a week. The Virtuo cups are not available in any store in my city. The other con is that the crema artificially produced by the Nespresso is overkill and not necessarily pleasant. I had been enjoying some complementary Keurig coffees interesting enough at my dog’s vet and enjoyed the coffee more than the ones produced by the Nespresso so opting for the Keurig was a no brainer. It’s so convenient that the cups are available anywhere and that there is so much to choose from. Can’t go wrong and can’t wait to get it! Thanks again for the “how to!”

I have this coffee machine and I love it..I live alone so making a pot of coffee is costly because I only drink one cup of coffee in the am. I use a 12 oz. cup and use the 4oz. and a 6oz. with full strength feature using 2 k-cups (I like my coffee strong). Then add my cream ..delicious ❤️

Why can’t you use the decomposable pod that maxwell offers in the supreme plus machine. Is there a way to make these pods work in this machine. On the elite model, it will work because it punches only one hole on the top of the pod. With the 5 hole punch the machine makes a mess Making the coffee of coffee. Mike

Great question and this will be a tough one. I love the k Cafe!! The milk frother is the best part of the k cafe, clean up is so easy. the k cafe also does an espresso shot (not really but it is a 2oz concentrated coffee shot) That amount of coffee (espresso) 2oz can only be done on the k cafe. the smallest brew on the supreme is 4oz. now some people like to add 4oz to there lattes and capp, Taste will be up to you on this. If you go with the K Supreme then get a nice Frother, Frothers that have the electrical connection on the bottom are hard to clean. If I am going to be drinking more latte's and cap, then I would go with the k cafe.

I just bought this model Keurig to replace an older one. A problem I'm having is the metal taste to the coffee/tea. I've gone on KZbin to find a solution and have done everything suggested - to no avail. Apparently its a common problem amongst other users. It's something to do with the plastic used in the inner parts. I've run through 30 cups of vinegar and carbon water to cleanse it. I really want to use this model as I love the size and tank size. Any suggestions?

Good review. You should caution users to not remove the reservoir while brewing as it will blow the coffee maker! Reliability of this model is suspect as I'm on my third unit since 2021!

Great Question. They are really different coffee makers since the Ninja will do a whole pot of coffee and has a hot water dispenser. With both of them about the same price. It might be better to get Ninja. If all you are doing is K cups then the Supreme makes a better single cup of coffee.

Sorry I should be more clean on this. Thanks for pointing this out. You don't need a water filter. The machine will work just fine. Re over ice in a glass. A metal spoon should help to keep the glass from breaking. I always put one in my coffee cup before I pour. Maybe it’s an old wives tale 🤷‍♀️ but it can’t hurt.
