That's a great set and the tractor trailer too in Haribo scheme. I wonder have you seen similar for Marabou chocolate?

I haven't, but to be fair, i haven't specifically gone out and looked for one either.

Mr. Google says no such creature. I guess being I think a Swedish brand they may not think to sell off advert space on train locos or rolling stock. Markets not that big.

Awesome! Did you use CS3 with Decoder-Programmer software?
@DoctorHobby
@DoctorHobby 2 жыл бұрын
I'm not quite sure what you mean? I used a LokProgrammer to program the decoder and then I run it on my CS3

This is a great idea. I have a bunch of loks with Marklin decoders, so this would be a lower cost option than the full Loksound as well as less soldering. How did you go about adjusting the acceleration and deceleration to match that of the on board Marklin decoder? I don't mean which CVs to adjust, but how did you get it to sound right?

It would be a great option. You can use CVS 2,3,4,5, and 6 to synchronize the sounds, but it often works great straight out of the box.

@@DoctorHobby How do you tell when you have got it right? By ear?

Yes, if it sounds right by ear based off of what you’re seeing then everyone else will think it’s dead on, too

A follow on question: I take it you are running the lok on Marklin Motorola mode. How do you access the functions above F8? I do not have a CS3, just an Intellibox that does MM and DCC.
@DoctorHobby
@DoctorHobby 2 жыл бұрын
So if you have a loco that uses MM, you can still set the FX to the same address in MM and the central station will still send the higher function commands to it. Otherwise, use the controller’s consisting function to let both run together in the same MU set.

Question, do you use ESU Loksound 5.0? Because that’s the latest version of Loksound

Almost all of LokSound controllers sold are 5th generation at this point, including the Fx. About 75 percent of my installs are LokSound 5 DCC or 5 Multi
