I'm not a big Chemical Guys fan but I did try their Mat Renew on my Weather Tech mats and I like that product a lot! Cleans and adds UV protection and not slippery. My wife is super sensitive to slippery mats, for her car, I use Solution Finish. Nicely darkens and not slippery whatsoever and lasts a pretty long time. Just have to make sure they are absolutely completely dry first before putting back in the car.

Thanks for sharing Viper, Solution Finish is fantastic option for this. Does it survive the wear and tear of the driver's feet? Me either I cant stand slippery mats. GUF has to be wiped off quite a bit hard if you let it dry there it'll slip. Cheers

Thank you for this video. I made the mistake of putting CarPro Darkside on my floor mats. Dangerously slick. I used P&S Brake Buster at 1:5 to remove it.

I used to use 303 on floormats (WeatherTech), but found it was too slippery for my tastes. When I saw Gummifix was going to be available in the U.S. I was kind of excited to try it. As you mentioned, it still had a little slickness, but not as bad as other dressings I had tried. To make application easier I put an IK HC trigger sprayer with a longer tube on the bottle. I prefer putting a light misting on the floormat followed up with a microfiber towel to do a quick leveling ... and I usually put on two coats. It really doesn't last that long, but the results do look fantastic.

the best way to use gummi fix is in a spray bottle like you said, but also using a soft “makeup style brush” to get in all the tight spots then a final wipe down with a microfiber towel to level it, that should help with the little bit of slippage 👍🏽🐿️💨

Can you dilute this product in a spray bottle or should it be used full strength?
@Detailing_Dogma7 ай бұрын
it's a RTU yes, use as is. It's alcohol based don't dilute it.

Not small it’s like a skating rink , maybe it’s my shoe souls but very slippery

Hey Scott, make sure to wipe-off GummiFix after 2minutes or so, that'll reduce the slip by 85%. Like mentioned in the video there's gonna be some slip leftover but acceptable even in the driver position, not to a dangerous point. Hope that helps and thanks for watching. ✌️

Best way to do it. Just fling it all over the matt then massage in with application pad

I agree. Been using the same terry cloth applicator for 6 months to rub it in
