Saw this video about a month ago, tried the gummy flex and was definitely impressed. I have weather tech mats and have tried a few other products with negligible results. My only issue is make sure to use outdoors as it has a strong isopropyl smell. But it dissipates as it dries. So far it has lasted well over a month in my daily driver. As mentioned preparation is key, but I highly recommend it. 👍✌️☮️

I’m from Austria and have used this product for two years. It is absolutely not slippery, trust me! Rain or snow, you are not going to have problems, not even the slightest. To my knowledge, it’s the only product on the market specifically made for this purpose, and it does the job perfectly. Of course, you can use it for other things as well, any plastic or rubber.

I have been watching a ton of your videos as I have been getting into car detailing. They are very well made and very helpful! Keep it up! Do you know anything about the 3200 Husqvarna pressure washer from Costco? I just barely bought the greenworks pro 2300 from Amazon after watching your review on it but today I saw the Husqvarna for sale making them the same price. The Husqvarna has more psi and gpm. For car detailing that extra psi won’t make much of a difference but I’d also like to be able to use the pressure washer for cleaning my fence, driveway, house, etc. Any thoughts as to which would be more versatile? Which would be more likely to last longer? I’d maybe guess that the gas powered engine might make the Husqvarna more serviceable after a lot of use.

Question in another video you used super clean with a spray gloss that was diluted with water, end result was bit more color and shine is this a better version of that or super clean still way too go?
@michaelof2000 Жыл бұрын
Not saying he’s doing it wrong, because he’s not. But he’s over-simplifying it a bit. It’s a KZbin video so understandable. But here’s an easier way of going about it that’ll give you amazing results… Rinse mat with water, get as much off as possible. Spray a Rubber cleaner/conditioner/protectant (I use Mothers VLR) and/or a degreaser onto mat and let dwell for a minute or two. The VLR is for softening the rubber and making it more slick. Rinse again. If the mat is really bad and is still really dirty, almost oversaturate the mat with VLR and Degreaser and scrub with a brush, drill brush, or something so it’s agitated (preferably a soft brissled drill brush). Don’t rinse yet, but lift the mat and make sure there’s no sitting chemicals or water on mat. And spray only the VLR again, and let sit for 5 mins. Scrub again then rise off.

I got new floor mats from Ford for my F150. When I got them they looked faded to begin with, but I got them free so was not a huge deal to me. My son immediately, like within the first week of having them, spilled milk, fortunately on the rear mat and not on the seats or carpeting. By the time I got home, and pulled the mat out, it had already dried. I have since scrubbed the mat twice, first using just some car wash and a scrubbie, and then with simple green and a scrubbie, and while the mats look clean, there is still like this waxy looking film where the milk was spilled that I cannot get rid of. I think maybe the milk did something to the rubber. Do you think this stuff would work to fix it?

Hey Alex, Ill do an update video soon but just to answer your question, it didnt last super long. Think of it as a tire dressing for the interior. Makes a huge visual impact but doesnt last too long. The more rubber mats vs this one that is a bit more plastic feeling seem to last longer cause the product has more to absorb in to
@ShineAndPreserveDetailing Жыл бұрын
@@imjoshv I appreciate the response man. Look forward to the update video. From the quick glance this seemed like the perfect solution to reviving the look of the mats without the slickness.
