Hey, don’t hate on Rug Doctor haha. They still make damned decent commercial products. Ever rent one of their home shampooers? God knows what concoctions are thrown in those, who rents em and they’re always going strong. Most detailers are terrified of even considering running a carpet chemical through their Mytees and Sandias lol. Not saying they couldn’t handle it, but you catch my drift, I’m sure.
@kevinbaker24702 жыл бұрын
@@FilthUD I was tool tech at home depot, and can't attest, mofos don't read instructions and don't give a fuck about the cleaning deposit,(because we hardly ever charge it reguardless, annoying when they don't regular vacuum first and bring it clogged with hair to the point the brushes don't rotate)

Just saying coming from detailer one to another detailier, ABSOLUTELY, the best on youtube... Great videos, keep up the good work man cause you are telling it how real it is.... Much appreciated....

I would say use caution of fabric seats/upholtstery when using the drill brush tool as to potential harshness from the bristles.Use light pressure and keep it constantly moving or you could wear the fabric out as the fabric is thinner than carpet material. Another thing is always be aware of howw much water and solution being used to not over saturate the fabric or the floor of the carpet when cleaning. I have seen on other vidoes to be carefull with the heat of the steam cleaner around certain areas in the interior so as to not get to hot or over saturate the area where there is adhesive that could loosen.Like with a headliner.
@adriancortez65722 жыл бұрын

I cleaned out the interior of a astro van we have that has never been detailed since we use it to carry stuff inside of it and I dumped out the container 6 times of the aqua pro vac when I cleaned out the seats and carpet. I spent about 2 hours cleaning the van lol since that’s how dirty it was but now it looks like new well at least only on the inside it does. This machine works good and got it at a good price. I do wish I had a steam cleaner though I’m debating on getting the dupray white box steam cleaner off of Amazon or the Mcculloch steam cleaner. I keep seeing negative reviews toward the Mcculloch 1385 steam cleaner which is why I’m leaning more towards getting the dupray instead.

Do you use another product after superclean in case the client doesn't like the superclean smell?
@stephenwhite54443 жыл бұрын
Hey bro, I've heard because SuperClean is high ph that itll make the fabric more still and itll attract grit and grime easier. That after cleaning with SC there should be a final pass with something ph neutral to neutralize it. Do you have any thoughts on that?? I'd like to use SC a lot more but thought it may present problems. Thoughts?? Is that just wrong info?
@Jose-ul7cx3 жыл бұрын
You’re headed in the right direction brotha. I wouldn’t recommend using Super Clean. Use a chemical made for upholstery because the alkaline/ ph levels are made specifically for upholstery. You then neutralize the chemicals so that the material does not get stiff, or so that stains don’t come back. I recommend Shine Supply, P&S, or any other detailing brand that also sells an enzyme, and tannin stain chemical.

Hey I have a question. I have used a drill brush to do seat shampooing, but a lot of the times the one I have tears the thread from the fabric. Why is that? Is it because I’m using the wrong type of brush? If so which one do you use? Or could it be because I apply to much pressure?
