Brodi without his defense it's gonna be a rim run fantasy. These supposedly great defenders really arent much more than aggressive players mostly getting away with fouling. They're giving up wide open looks to good shooters constantly. Good luck without him

Everyone keeps saying how much closer its gonna be without Porzingis on the court. No one is stating the Celtics sucked at shooting from downtown just as bad as the Mavs. I doubt this affects us much. @HayastAnFedayi
@HayastAnFedayi 3 ай бұрын
Seriously these delusional copium Mavs fans wishing for him to be injured, they acting like the 25+minutes KP wasn’t in each game 1 and 2 that our D didn’t lock the Mavs down completely, or that Luca is getting painkiller injections in his chest and is a hobbled mess, or that the Celtics have shut down and exposed Dallas’s role players.
@JD-nw1jl
@JD-nw1jl 3 ай бұрын
@@HayastAnFedayi exactly, boston as a whole locked Dallas up. They got good defensive schemes, good coaching, everyone bought in to the gameplan and above all, i believe Boston had the better talent in comparison with the Mavs which is just a Luka and Kyrie show. KP being out does not resolve the mavs problem with the boston defense. I actually thought JKidd should've just shut down luka on game 2 when he is like a mummy with all the bandages all over to protect his player.
@HayastAnFedayi
@HayastAnFedayi 3 ай бұрын
@@JD-nw1jl couldn’t agree more. Wouldn’t surprise me even if KP still plays and this is all gamesmanship, he’s really hurt on some level for sure, but the way people have said he’s been walking fine and what not something down inside me is saying he still might play…would be a pretty funny gamesmanship play as a retort to Kidd trying to say JB is the better player compared to Tatum. But honestly I say just rest him, no reason Celtics still can’t win game 3, let KP rest for when and if we really might need him.

It won’t change the lock down D, Porzingis only played 20+ minutes in each game and the Celtics still had their way with the Mavs, all C’s have to do is win two more games out of 5 against a team they are way deeper than. Horford is in great condition! he has a condition more of a 27 year old rather than a 37 year old. Horford can sneakily go off on offense and has underrated defense but his small size is what will be a killer & although Porzingis will be missed by his shooting spark of the bench most importantly will be his rim protection, that will be huge! we'll see though...

The Celtics are showing how DEPTH is more important than STARS - Keep in mind, this is coming from a Heat fan. Boston has NO ONE on their roster with the offensive talent of Kyrie or Luka but they have an excellent defense and a versatile offense. Maybe it's just that I despise the flat-earther, pseudo-intellectual Kyrie and petulant Luka personas but, even as a Heat fan, I'm rooting for Boston here!

"are they built for this" Porzingis has played like 35 minutes this entire series... Celtics are up 2-0 if you were unaware. Its quite simple actually. In a 5 game series do you see the Celtics without Porzingis getting at least 2 games? If your answer is yes, good job you know ball. If your answer is no, please never have children there's enough stupidity in this world already.

The house doesn’t lose. The casinos and FanDuel makes sure certain wins and losses take place by any means. Porzingus is an example how they fabricate injuries to even the odds. Hopeful Dallas fans will now raise their stakes but it will all depend on how many bets Lean towards Dallas or Boston. If It’s overwhelmingly Dallas, then they arrange for Boston to win. But if it’s still mainly Bets on Boston, they’ll keep Porzingus from coming in an guaranteeing that win.

Coming into this series Jason Tatum averaged 35 vs Dallas this season. You’ve got to figure you get AT LEAST one monster game from Tatum. That gets Boston to 3. You gotta think 1 in the other four is doable especially after watching them pull out game 2.

Not really a Celtic fan (that's putting it lightly)... and, Porzingis has had a bit of an up and down career... but, you've gotta respect the way he played this series after being out for a month. Most players would have eased their way back into the offence. Many coaches wouldn't have risked changing an offence that was rolling along by changing the line-up. He was the difference maker in game 1... Mavs had no plan/answer for him. It seemed to completely take them by surprise. It's game changing/winning contributions by individual players that lead to teams overall success and winning championships. Being a difference maker in a finals series game is something all players aspire to achieve. Even if Porzingis didn't play another game this series, I think he's already made a significant contribution to the Celtics attempt to win.
