It took me a while after beating the game to realize the ant demons also have human faces in the middle of their heads, that made them way more creepy than just ants like I thought they were

yeah they also have faces on the side of their heads - there are eyes and human faces everywhere on the demons in this game, need to examine them close using photo mode or library model viewer ~ definitely hard to see without them

I think those drawings on the church are actually to represent the windows on it, as in the normal Goliath arena there is a big circular window where the large black circle is.

It's a shame that the camera in the game doesn't do anything to accentuate these details. I must have about 500 hours in DMC5 and have never once noticed them :( Also, Malphas has 3 arms - one attached to each of the witches that she's made of ;) Thanks for sharing!

oh yeah interesting, each head has one arm :" yeah you never really look around in boss arenas to begin with, there is no time, so the best is to stop time with photo mode~

These stages remind me of Jester's stage when you fight him. His face is hidden in the background, multiple structures with different expressions. I don't remember well which version of the game these are present, if the normal special edition or the SE for the Switch.

thats actually pretty interesting, since both Jester and Malphas having purple as their symbolic colour, and both capable of trapping you in their dimension~ I never noticed jester faces in his arena though, but gonna keep an eye out~ others were saying there are similar heads in dmc 3 bloody palace as well~

The faces look creepy and still very cool, the ending screen finding makes no sense but I love it haha. Why would they even leave this in the game ?

the ending screen is a skybox, which is everywhere in 3d environments to help with realistic lighting and backgrounds~
