Security guards cannot make a civil arrest simply for filming, even if there's a sign prohibiting it. They can ask the person to leave or call the police if policies are being broken. Physically detaining the individual or forcing them to delete footage without proper cause would be unlawful. In practice, if someone continues filming against posted rules, security is likely to escort the individual out of the building and contact the police if needed, but any use of force or arrest must be proportional and legally justified. Detaining someone unlawfully or forcing them to delete footage is a serious breach of conduct. This kind of behavior not only risks legal action against you but also jeopardizes your job

Of course if he were to be quickly prosecuted by a magistrate (the next morning) and we had a strong Government, and outside ECHR, We could deport back to Africa in a week. Then, over a short time, it would stop. But we don't. Conservatives and Labour are both "Big State, Lefty Liberals" - high on power, and love immigration and spending our money so they can all "feel better".

To get a visa for England, I need marriage and at least two children, to have a house or apartment that is mine and is in my name (all this as a guarantee that I will return home to Serbia when my visa expires) + to have a university degree, work experience in the profession for at least 5 years. I follow the auditors, and I see that 90% of security in the UK are "people who came from various countries" - I have to write like this because if I write m.g..nt yt deletes my comment. The ‘’guards’’ are surfing on a roller-coaster of emotions ‘n feelings ‘n anger. They are wild. The best I can say about this BS: is that at least they are emotionally honest … with no smarmy glee detected. But A BORDER COLLIE could guard that place with more decorum and more sensitivity … A BORDER would know when TO STOP BARKING {when AB leaves- or tries} im autistic, and im saying: READ THE ROOM! (the room being the situation you’re in and the basic laws surrounding you- the ‘’security’’). I used to work with ghanian and nigerian men in the 90’s, in london… as a security boi. They were NOT like that. I can’t lie: in many cases we were just trying to get past the 12hr night shift in a portocabin. I have been subscribed to AB for a long time and admire his tactful lawful approach to the situations he comes across . We can't force AB to take action either, or indeed direct his video's, but i always hope that its part of an auditors role, to follow through on serious misconduct by cops & security etc, otherwise it just appears they are doing this for 'likes' and revenue. In the UK, while many public buildings-such as town halls, libraries, and museums-may have internal policies that restrict photography or filming, these policies are NOT legally enforceable in the same way as laws. In your case AB, the "no photography or filming" signs at the town hall are internal policies meant to guide public behaviour on the premises. While staff can request compliance with these rules, noncompliance does not constitute a criminal offense unless specific legal grounds are involved, such as data protection or privacy concerns in sensitive areas. Without a law backing this policy, staff have limited recourse beyond asking you to leave if you don’t follow it. As for the unlawful detention, If town hall employees attempt to physically detain you, block your exit, or use threats to prevent you from leaving until you delete footage, this can cross into unlawful detention (false imprisonment). They are NOT law enforcement and do NOT have the legal authority to detain you or demand the deletion of footage UNLESS a court order specifically grants this right. Any form of physical or psychological coercion used to restrict your movement is likely to be unlawful.
