Question: are you able to give a rough ratio of how many valuable items you find a couple of feet in the water versus on dry and wet sand?

No, because I primarily hunt the water. I only hunt the wet/dry sand when I'm doing a recovery or if I drove really far to a location and the water is too rough. It's not that there's more valuable items in the water, its just that the trash to treasure ratio is usually better

I know the ring is platinum, but many Sterling Silver rings have semi-precious stones. I have one that has Larimar, which I love! Women sometimes use them as props to post manis.

@@henrylobos6093 those old pull tabs,the ones with the teardrop shaped piece of aluminum that little tail of aluminum with a little work can be a small fishing lure we used to do that with those tabs when I was a kid add a small hook and aswivel leader you have a small serviceable lure that works well with panfish like blue gill we made those when we got desperate for worms.
