I just retired to Colorado from the LA area and am getting into gold prospecting now. I enjoy your videos and a little envious of the nuggets you find because most of the gold out here is smaller stuff but I think what I envy more are your good knees! I could never kneel down on the ground like you do especially with a knee replacement and another that's not so good. Makes panning a little harder but I'll keep trying and watching your videos. Gary a question for you if you read this. You mentioned the deposit as a high bench the gold is well worn so wouldn’t it have travelled from upstream rather than from above, what your thoughts on this and reason for it coming from above? Great video by the way I e learnt a lot from your vids

I have done some filming with the drone and a bit more testing and I am now pretty sure it is a ancient channel. When I was talking about coming from above, I meant as the old channel is eroding all the material is being washed down the hill by the winter storms. I am going to head up there as soon as the weather and work allows and do a video explaining what I think is going on and hopefully find a few more nuggets.
