Gotta say I'm really lovin' these "for youtube only" type of videos. As much as I love livestream interactions, the constantly scrolling comments in the corner can be a bit distracting at times. This is such a breath of fresh air, would love to see more!

I'm kinda on the fence about the lack of visible chat. I really wish there was an option for it, maybe as some sort of second stream overlay. Has anyone built a plugin that transcribes Twitch chat into closed captions/subtitles?

From what I understand about the murder weapon for the second case was that you scanned both a wound and what killed her. If you look back on the footage you see that one of the two files you got from scanning her said she was killed by the razor even though she was also shot. It's a bit confusing but I think that's what happened.

When the guy ran out after talking with insym and the cop who was FOR SOME REASON ALREADY IN THERE, also ran out and shot the guy I lost my mind. That was hysterical

I'm sure someone else pointed it out, but in your 2nd case you missed a part of the report when you inspected the corpse, it told you that they'd been shot by a pistol but the 2nd part told you that they had been killed by a bladed weapon. So you accidentally got it right by adding the razor as the murder weapon.

2:05:19 I believe what had happened was the officer who shot Taylor dropped his bullet casings inside the house and that is why you mistakenly thought that the murder weapon was a gun but it was the Razor all along.

1:33:53 it said bullet wound.. but at 1:33:59 it says slashed but he didn't register it in his brain because of the bullet wound

I'm in kind of the same way, but I don't do any development of my own. More of the "wanted to be a game dev in high school and got in deep before realizing how the industry was, so now I'm wired to think about game design". You should also look at Dwarf Fortress. This and DF both have really in-depth history generation. If I had to guess, it's about carefully creating a series of simple systems like city/building layout, people's work/relationships, and then stringing them all together until it seems organic.

@@Boredom_Incarnate I know about Dwarf Fortress and adore all it's systems, I just wish the game part wasnt made so badly and I could experience all these systems without having to look through 20 blocks of text that I have to find myself so I couldn't get myself to play it for more than few hours.

@@paxon57 For what it's worth, it's one of those "learn a few things each run" kind of game. I keep the wiki open for pages like the stone guide but otherwise I barely need to look at it anymore. You'll also want a 3rd party program called Dwarf Therapist which makes a really nice UI for dealing with things like labor and professions etc.

​@paxon57 I see that's an old comment so hopefully you don't mind me necro'ing, just came to say don't sell yourself short by putting "dev" in quotes. The wall that is "game development" is tackled by you building stair by stair. Each time you learn something new it's a new stair step up what used to be a daunting wall. Hopefully you're enjoying it if you're still at it, hopefully you found something you did enjoy if you found it wasn't for you.

@@strixt Thanks for inspirational comment :) I'm not at it recently due to life, work and university. I've been planning and learning stuff recently to start one serious project soon. Which is also a reason why I used quotes :D So far I've been playing around and experimenting with random stuff, starting new projects over and over again. I will call myself a game dev without quotes when there is something that resembles an actual game in the works :p

Imagine this game with ai. All the citizens would have their own goals and personality and you can type what you want to say to them like a chatbot and they respond with an ai generated answer. That would be so cool. This game is already insanely awesome but with that it would reach a new level of realism, with a city that felt like it was actually alive and inhabited with real citizens. Just imagine how immersive the cases would be. Anyways, great video and I'm sure I can speak for everyone when I say that we'd love to see this become a series, keep up the good work Insym!

LOVE da vids Insym!🥰 Also a quick tip: You can sabotage cameras by going under them, and looking at the camera from below (Requires lock picks). This should give you the option to "Sabotage" the camera while beneath them.

This game is so immersive, omg, absolutely amazing ❤❤ Adore the concept of whole city being alive and paths intertwined between every citizen. There is so much to this game. When I thought I seen all it has to offer, you're now tracing calls from location to see who is calling who and getting locations to find people with just phone numbers. That's a lot going on to be sure. Also I like the fact NPCS can do everything you can do in some respects, like venting. Granted venting is not a perfect counter to cameras you just following groups of people around the time of the murder and see who disappears around the time murder.

LETS GOOOO edit: seems like in the second case, she was shot and slashed, you accidently opened something that said that she had been slashed with a razor as well when you were in sage's workplace when it was lagging a lot. so it was probably either one would've been right. brutal!!

Loved this, although i was screaming inside me when you didn’t notice the clue while inspecting the second wictim stated she got slashed to death with a bladed weapon that was the razor blade on the ground with the H fingerprint, but you were too focused in the gunshot wound XD

Symsym! Loving it. Binge playing this game now, thanks to you. Casings usually don’t get a lot of prints as sweat and oils that make the print get evaporated when bullet is fired. Tho it’s not a rule. Bullet can preserve prints if it malfunctioned and was ejected without firing tho!

What’s crazy about this game his how much freedom you have in it. I was on this murder case, it just started, went to the apartment of the dead victim to look around, but unfortunately cops were still there and saw me and shot me to death lol, so I restarted the save….then I thought to myself, will the same murder happen at the exact same place? Went there as soon as I loaded in, sat outside the room and waited, then all of a sudden I see this lady approach the door and picklock it, she goes in and starts yelling at the guy some stuff and starts shooting him, so I ran in and knocked her out with a baton, then handcuffed her and turned her in. So technically I went back in time and saved this man from being killed lol. Love this game
