I usually like to read the viewer comments, because others add insight and often give me things to think about, that I hadn't thought of. But many times, as in this case, if you read down far enough, there are the typical childish snide comments, the trolls, the insensitive remarks, the cynics, and those who talk just to hear their own heads rattling. And the most serious, deepest subjects seem like they attract the most immature and classless comments. It's inane, banal, and disgusting. I appreciate the freedom that exists for any viewer to comment on a video, but you'd think a modicum of decorum and common sense would prevail. It sure is a mixed-bag, I'm sorry to have to say.

I find her crying - in front of the jury - highly inappropriate and her laughing weird. As a professional, she needs to have better emotional control. I understand it’s a very difficult case but she shouldn’t give any reason to can appeal. Make sure his conviction sticks and he doesn’t walk or get lesser penalties for technical misconduct

So unprofessional. This officer is a big problem. An investigator must be neutral and unbiased. You have to be able to keep your emotions in check to be impartial. This person exhibits strong narcissist traits. Listen to her words. She inserts herself into the investigstion and makes it about herself ... "I" "me" "my". I didn't want it to be her. She exhibits a lack of rationality and makes assumptions throughout her investigations. She should change jobs to a victims advocate.

Why exactly should she "toughen up", when discussing the BRUTAL murder of a young teenage girl? She is emotional because it is an emotional situation. I find it disturbing to see someone speak of such a case without emotion. It shows she is still human and cares about her job and what she does.
