I've heard this account on a couple different channels, and each time I am gobsmacked by it. At every angle, at every point, it just makes no god damn sense. The only thing that makes sense, and I say this as a parent, is what the parents did. They literally were blinded by the love for their son, and could never see their end coming the way it did. So tragic, so sad and so unnecessary.

I hope the surviving brother is getting help to deal with the distress. Parents, you need to enforce boundaries on your adult kids. He seems to make a lot of pronunciation errors in his videos, which is annoying for a channel with almost 2 million subscribers. He obviously has the resources and probably a team of at least a couple of people making these videos with him, and you'd think he'd check how to pronounce the name of a place he'd obviously never heard of before saying it so many times in a video. He even included a news clip where the news anchor said the name of the city several times, and still somehow failed to say it right himself. When you're making well north of 6 figures a year making KZbin videos, a little quality control would be nice.

The parent's only real mistake was giving their grown-ass, live at home 30yr old deadbeat son, access to their savings accounts.
