Thx this was really helpful im starting my own business where im breeding and selling rabbits and ive already got some buyers another thing is to make sure they are held alot to so they are tame when they go to their next owners but now i can tell if their male of female thx!😊

Haha I've always played w/ all our pets paws. But my hubby's fascinated by how big the bunny's back feet are too. We have a baby bunny. I think he's a holland lop. He just gets more & more chunky every day. Hes just a little ball of big booty. Even when he gets older I'll still think he's cute bc hes a "loaf" =Bunnies are the cutest when they scrunch up (all our pets r). Or anything they do at all is cute. My bunny likes to sit & sleep in my lap alot. Or just even being near me. I told my hubby he's marks his territory everywhere. he said," pees everywhere?" I said, "no. He smells me on anything & licks it. Even the dirty dishes. " I think I saw him eat 1 of his turds the other day too. Less kitty formula, more eating solids food on his own, yaaay. They grow up so fast 😍😅🤣.

For those wondering "Why would someone want to check by handling the rabbits this way?" 1: you do this when they are this age so you can separate the sexes ahead of time 2 sell your rabbit while accurately providing information to the new rabbit keeper 3 check for ailments and infections 4 make sure you are preventing unexpected litters if you decide to buy a pair from someone who does not know how to do this 5 ensuring you're getting a physically sound rabbit if you are purchasing or selecting show breeding stock (no genital deformities).

You can definitely handle them like this! How else do you expect to figure out the gender? Just support their back when they are being held this way and they are fine!
