Brian, IT'S NOT MY PLACE TO SAY, but: If you ever had the thought of "are my videos actually making an impact?" or "should i even keep uploading?" YOUR BRAIN IS TELLING YOU DECEITFUL LIES. This channel is very unlike other lifting/strongman channels in the sense that the majority of people watching are actually pretty experienced. And it's very hard to learn new stuff and improve by watching very beginner-ish popular channels. This is where BRIAN ALSRUHE comes in! He is the missing piece that intermediate lifters really need. Thank you for your efforts. Sincerely, a very thankful person.

"The thing that separates this thing..." I see what you did there. I just bought my Kove with your discount code, thank you! I've always had to work extra on my upper back. The more work I do the better everything gets.
@tonyd71853 жыл бұрын
For me, it's going to be my lats / upper back - the fact that when I try pull-ups I end up in a weird swing / hanging leg raise. So like the song says ... row, row, row, row my back down the stream, make your deadlift problems but a dream.

Hi Brian, so true, you have to control the voice in your head....to progress.

I did light farmers carries with five-gallon buckets of water for a summer four years ago and my traps BLEW up. I didn't get stronger in any one lift, but my upper back definitely gained mass, which I could use to build strength. Having said that I wouldn't recommend doing it because I was walking 1 mile five days a week with these buckets and it really wasn't the most efficient way to build my back but it was all I had at the time. Tell ya what though, my grip has never been an issue since.

Great video, thanks for putting this up. Having a home gym that isn’t quite to Basement Brandon level, I sometimes think that I don’t have the proper equipment to improve my deadlift. Then I see this video, and get a better understanding that what I have will work. More than anything, I need to shift my back routine around and incorporate more good mornings, and change my rowing routine

I got the kove speaker from your promo code a few years ago and it truly is a good speaker. It's loud and the battery is pretty good. Unfortunately my wife though it was a nice speaker too and she now owns it.

Great video for sure. I'll have to watch where/if I have a problem and see where I'm breaking down at. I don't typically go to failure too often, so that is why I say "if" because I just don't get there very often (5,3,1 routine), and being 60 years old, I found it's better to not max all the time, but to keep a little in the tank each work out leading to better recovery for the next week.
