Pre-distressed fonts are more like fonts with chunks missing. Distress in Photoshop for way better looking distressed effects.

Photoshop has a more even look for sure... sometimes I'm lazy.

@@DetourShirts Photoshop Droplets. That’s the trick. Literally drag and drop a folder onto the droplet and, boom, distressed without having to do a thing.

Hi Yuna, I like the Veneer one but I get confused when I look at all their licences. As a POD seller, which option do you usually chose on myfonts.com when buying a font? I get confused by the terms of their licence as on the desktop license they say "you may not use it on personalized products for resale..." so which licence should we actually buy if we want to use it on our POD projects? @@MariaBure I asked them this question directly, and this is what they said: "Desktop licenses cover commercial use for print and other "static" work, so your use is most likely covered. The thing that is not allowed under the licenses we sell is distribution of the font software itself -- i.e. digital copying of any kind. So you will be able to use most fonts for documents, brochures, banners, menu cards, greeting cards, business cards, books, t-shirts, web graphics, etc., but not include the font in software products or editable documents. Each foundry has their own EULA terms, so if you have specific questions about individual fonts, you can find links to the licenses under the 'Licensing' tab, or in the cart under 'view license' for the package in the cart."

Amazon is great but you have to apply to get on... RedBubble and TeePublic are great to start... anyone can get started there.

Hey, how did you move the letters in a word on next font? I'd like to learn that!

You can convert the font to curves, which makes it an object instead of a font. Then you can move each letter independently.

It's really a personal preference but your font needs to be readable. A bold font helps with that.

I have a design that is questionable on infringement and doing extremely well at 14.99. i want to raise the price a dollar but worried amazon may decide when i raise the price they notice it is infringing & take it down. Should i raise the price and not worry or back off because they may reevaluate the design and take it down?

Great question...It's like do the right thing or get the money.... If I just found out it was super questionable and wrong I would take it down and remove it myself.... If I didn't think it was wrong but wasn't really sure I would leave it up and change the price.

@@DetourShirts Now that your secret is out, you can bet that Tom, Dick and Sally will be using those 5 fonts, so we try to be a bit different. The logo we have was a special creation by a student from Taiwan; we have no idea how she did it and she's not around anymore. That's why I asked. Btw, your videos are very helpful.

Just an addenda, the free version of The Nexa rust slab does not have the full character set. For people starting out and don't have much money to spend on fonts, maybe you can do a version of this video with just free fonts. Good vídeo.

You can build up your design portfolio on RedBubble and try again... It's not a guarantee but you will have a bunch of designs to show at least.

One more thing, I don't think that rating from merch informer is correct, because if you make the search in Amazon and click in page 3 or 4, it immediately expands to 2000+ results, I check the first 14 pages and the results were all the same.

If you go to my channel and click on videos they should all be in order of upload date. The newest one being first. You could also sort by oldest one first that helps. I am numbering my RedBubble trend videos though.
