I started doing drugs since my teenage, got addicted to heroin. Spent my whole life fighting heroin addiction. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Much respect to mother nature the great magic shrooms.

I'm 56 and have suffered for years with addiction, anxiety and severe ptsd, I got my panic attacks under control myself years ago and they have come back with a vengeance, I'm constantly trying to take full breaths but can't get the full satisfying breath out, it's absolutely crippling me, i live in Australia. I don't know much about these mushrooms. Really need a reliable source!! Can't wait to get them.

Shrooms to me is a remedy not a vice. I even felt more refreshed the morning after. So no hangovers. No depression mood for days. No anxiety.I now have a more calm mind

My name is Connor, and I’m an addict, I dabbled into drugs at 12 years old, right out of 6th grade, started smoking cigs, then weed, and so on with constant partying, only wanting to get high. High school came around, and my cousin introduced me to snorting my own adhd meds, became hooked immediately, from snorting 300mg of adderall on the daily, to mixing Xanax, perkesets, methadone, hydros, etc. so many pills, just pills on pills. Along with drinking alcohol everyday, being drunk at school all day up until the last month of my senior year. I was taking my EOCT test and asked my teacher if I could use the restroom, when I was on my way back, the school resource officer asked me to step into the principals office, my bag along with my alcohol was found, luckily, 45 minutes before then my teacher searched my bag and found pills I had, she took them and let me go on about my day only to see me getting arrested not an even an hour later. They kicked me out, but gave me a week to study and take my exams, I passed. Then, summer came along, and I kept doing pills, stealing my parents alcohol, etc. 2 months into my summer, I found a bottle of hydros in my moms closet, I took 30 pills at once. I can’t even begin to understand why I didn’t die. I freaked out, called my cousin asking for insight on what I should do, he told me I should try to make myself throw up, I did, still think about today as to why I didn’t OD that day. I quit taking pills, and haven’t done them since. The next few years I was hanging out with the dumbest of people to be around. Got arrested 9 times during those next two years. The last time I was arrested I chugged an entire 2 liter of whiskey, only to wake up the next day in a padded cell, butt naked, with a turtle suit on. Not knowing anything that had happened that previous day. The court saw that I wasn’t getting better so I was given a choice to go to jail for a year or rehab, I went to rehab for 14 months at the Timothy House in Northern Georgia. Only to get back out and to start drinking and smoking, and doing lots of LSD, and other hallucinogenics. About 4 months go by, and I was offered meth and heroine. And I did it, 2 weeks go by, and I’ve been awake the whole time. I called my brother whose in college at the time, and I told him what I was doing, he stopped everything he was doing, came and got me, and I lived on his couch for 6 months. Now we’ve got a place. Things were going alright, I started smoking weed everyday, now Ik weed isn’t like considered to be that bad, but for me, It made me very depressed. So as of now, 10 days ago, I’ve decided to quit everything and enjoy my life sober.

Glad you are doing better. I think you made the right choice quitting weed also. It can be addictive for some of us also. You won't know unless you try to quit. The brain fog slowly fades away. We get high to fill the emptiness the drugs create. It's a vicious cycle. Good luck bro

Opiates ruined my life from age 14-27! Ive been clean since 12-12-12! I won’t even glorify the amount my habit cost me a day but all I can say is if I can quit than anyone can quit. A heart attack, countless jails, rehabs, detox and one halfway house (6 month program that I stayed 8 months for) a few overdoses and 9 relapses later, I’m almost six years clean. If you want it bad enough you can have it. I’ll admit the first two years was pure hell, year three was hit or miss and by than I got my mental health looked at and since than things have been a lot better sobriety wise. Don’t wait so long to get your mental health evaluated because most of the times mental health and addiction go hand in hand and we tend to self medicate. If you are getting high and you’re reading this than you can do it. Don’t wait one more day because it could be too late. You got this, keep your head up and stay strong!

One of the challenges is that although your body may be detoxed after a certain period of time, it takes MUCH longer for your brain chemicals to return to normal levels and function. This is why it feels like "withdrawal" never ends even after a detox period, and is what triggers relapses.

Depending upon what your addicted to, it’s a bad life or a REALLY bad life. I don’t miss chasing down substances. I remember working two jobs to support my pain pill habit. They gave me energy and put me in a great mood. But I found myself working more because I had the energy, but the more I worked, the more pills I needed, which cost more money so I worked more. Was caught up in a vicious cycle. And God forbid if I couldn’t find pills, man….the sickness that comes along is worse than having the worst flu you can imagine. Crashing doesn’t even come close to how bad it feels. So greatful I’m not caught up in that anymore. I had a good 10yr run….I’m 53yrs old now. I pray that anyone who is addicted to anything, to reach out and get the help you need and want. Getting help is nothing to fear, I promise you❤️🙏😐

How does acid make your problems go away??? "Taking psychedelics as an escape from reality is like running into a police station to escape the cops"

ViewsThruMe ... have u ever done acid? It's been several years, but regular acid was never that strong in my experiences. As long as your a somewhat balanced person & don't have a bunch of preexisting mental issues u shouldn't have too many issues w/ normal acid. It just makes you laugh a bunch & u react more to movements & bright lights seeing streaks & stuff. You shouldn't be seeing people melt or some crazy ass shit on a hit of acid. Now Mescaline or stronger physcedelics might be another issue. A better question that I've always asked myself is why do people looking to forget their worries & escape turn to cocaine or crack. If u want your problems & worries to go away why take something that gives u euphoria for 1min to 20min tops & has you jittery & paranoid the rest of the time? I guess what drugs u like or turn to depends on the person, but I never found cocaine or really any upper to be that pleasurable, or at least the pleasure wasn't worth the comedown period.

HawksFan5884 have you ever done acid? It's dosed differently there's no regular acid lol you can definitely see people and reality as a whole melt before your eyes, shit can be crazy intense, I have no joke eaten well over 120+ hits of lucy. And yes anyone with no pre existing or underlining disorder will be fine because it's the safest drug you could ever take, but even people with disorders that have a challenging experience is always extremely beneficial in the long run, LEGALIZE PSYCHEDELIC MEDICINE

PyschsAreKeyॐ ...true there are different doses. Personally I only ever took tabs mostly & sugar cubes a couple times. Never had liquid & never got dose info or anything back when I did them. Most I've ever done at once was 3 tabs. Still w/out ever getting dose info LSD I've tried in the past always seemed about the same strength per tab (got it from several diff sources too), but yeah I was more just generalizing based on strength of what I've had in the past. In those experiences I've never seen a person freak out or see anything crazy, but yeah I guess if your taking really high doses the experience may change. It's never gonna be legalized in the states tho. You already got too many idiots out there committing a multitude of crimes & trying to blame it on insanity or a temporary psychotic break.

PyschsAreKeyॐ ... that's exactly why it won't be legalized. Too many people would be using it for recreational purposes. Tho if it was legal I can't say for certain I wouldn't be one of those people who'd try it recreationally 😂. Just b/c it's been several years & if it were legal then why not, but I don't have a therapeutic need for it other then just wanting to unwind & disassociate from reality somewhat for awhile. If it were legal though & people didn't take it correctly & then snapped or broke any kind of law then they'd have a built in excuse. The only way I could see it is if it were only prescribed & then administered in a controlled setting under direct supervision of a doctor/therapist. Even then I don't ever see government or politicians coming together & approving that. We can't even get marijuana legal even for medical purposes in most states
