DETROIT AIRPORT WALKING TOUR 2023 - A FULL EXPERIENCE

DTW is my home airport. It is exactly a mile from tip to tip in the McNamara terminal. It used to be a hub for Northwest Airlines. The McNamara was built in the early 2000's.

Beautiful airport and so fun to watch this video! Thank you for putting together! Should you ever do another airport walkthrough would you be open to including a directory that goes along the bottom of the screen moving along with you? That would be cool to follow along. Of course not necessary just a suggestion I thought of as I was watching this video. You can put a little bobble head of you as you move through the airport to make it fun 💜 and I had no idea ATL is considered the busiest airport, I would have thought JFK or LAX had that title. Flew from IAH-ATL-DTW-JFK once! DTW is the best airport I have visited! I would come back here if I had the chance!

VF, the design IS simplicity itself. Sad that the city gets the negative viewpoints so often, because it is getting better with housing values that are true jewels. And a great art museum and very good symphony. Thanks for taking us on a tour. Herman

You know the funny thing is that I sometimes think the negative reputation that it has sometimes works in benefit for Detroit. That way they don’t get bombarded with everyone moving there. Something tells me that in the next five years it will be a hotspot to move to.

That makes sense. But, if the public ever takes notice of some very sturdy housing stock at low prices, it could really become desirable. And with Windsor just across the bridge, that is also a plus. Do you think you could consider moving your family there and staying in base? Your seniority might grow faster there, and the base has international work too and probably every different aircraft in the fleet comes through. DTW.

I love my airport, wished my major airline had a base here. I flew into IAH and boy was it complicated and filthy! I was very displeased with my experience there. Really appreciate your videos ❤
