Happy New Year! I’m a new subscriber to your channel, maybe since Oct/Nov as I was applying to your company and watching everything FA related. You by far are one of my favorites 😊…. As for my process, I was super nervous on the virtual interview and tanked it so bad that I wasn’t surprised when I got the tbnt email. Disappointed but not surprised. Anyway, I was wondering how long I had to wait before I can apply again. I think someone said 3 months and I might have heard 6 but I can’t find anything on the subject on the company website. I feel more confident doing it again because I know where I went wrong the first time.

Hello there. So sorry to hear that. But I do encourage you to try again. I think it’s 6 months that you have to wait but they have changed that before. Stick with it. We are going to be hiring again later this year from what I understand. Happy new year. 😊

Happy New Year! Holiday season was busy for this JR flight attendant based @the home office. You've met lots of celebrities and musicians Sounds like you had a great first year. I'm glad to hear that you will be a lifelong Deltoid. So you received a permanant transfer tp PDX. So how does it feel to drive home immediately after your rotations.Is it worth it? I love being a Domestic Diva. I haven't flown an international flight yet. Or my international is what I call Domestic International which is Canada, Mexico, and the Islands. I don't see the super high credit trips either. But i've learned to live with it, as I am home. You'll make the $$ amount as you will be getting raises. Hopefully we'll hear some good news tomorrow about Valentine's Day. And we've gotten the unexpected TAFB , Vacation and Lead increase. So those pennies and nickels will add up real quick.

@@ZuneraHashmi hello there. Hope you’re doing well. I’m so excited for you that you’re starting training. You’ll be on the line before you know it. Yes, I would say the first year would be the most challenging for several reasons. One, it’s a new career and you’re getting used to a new company. Second, you have to learn everything that they did not teach you in training, which is what most of the job is all about. And lastly, you have to deal with your seniority and not getting everything that you want at the start. But don’t worry time will pass and your seniority will get better and better and that will make the job easier as time goes on. Not to mention you’ll also be making more money the longer you stay on the job. Just hang in there and everything will be great. I wish you all the very best. Have a wonderful holiday season.😃
Thank you so much! This was much more in depth that several videos I've watched. Very helpful!

I lived in Asia and travelled extensively across all major markets for last last 14 years up until moving to the US last year and this is a major breath of fresh air as 98% of US airports are tired and in dire need of upgrades. I just hope maintenance will be proper or else after couple years it won't look so pretty. Awesome to see, especially since Changi being my home base air port.

Failed 4 doors? One of Canadian airlines allows 2 retakes only and fails which is not right. Moreover all passing scores are over 90%. However some flight attendants of it don’t know well in real after the training. What the airline focuses on test itself, rather than their actual operational performances. Giving 2 chances on both practical and written tests are somewhat ridiculous and awkward because after all in case of emergency issuing with wording or mistakes are nothing to with emergency management. They are flight attendants but not scholars. It’s not mathematics’ training.

Terrific review - as a new follower, looking forward to future posts! Btw, while "larger" would indeed be great, Nomad Lane took pains to ensure that this bag would fit underneath virtually every airliners seat. I've not yet found a carrier where I've had an issue, but there are just a few globally...none of the majors...although sometimes aisle seats are less roomy underfoot. So, while a bit larger would be great, I appreciate the fact that they've not increased the size, as I've managed to squeeze this gem everyyyyywhere! That said, it would be awesome if they designed an overhead carryon, now that it's been determined that they really know how to maximize space...bet they'd do a great job! Thanks again for a unique perspective...it was def valuable for viewers to see the Bento Bag in action! Happy Thanksgiving!

I wish I would have gotten a phone number or two from the hiring event so I could have stayed in touch with others who are in the same situation. It's a bit difficult to not go out and learn things online. Airlines are all different and I don't want to capture the wrong details. I'm not with Delta, but it does look like you're enjoying yourself! I'll give a quick hello if we pass in the terminal someday. Funny thing is on a flight back from Sea Tac to PDX I met a flight attendant who's on another KZbin interview. Sweet person, she was surprised as I was! Travel safe, R

Good question I personally have never used laundry services from a hotel. I try to take everything I need at the beginning of a trip. That being said, there have been two times where I have had to use a laundromat outside the hotel because my trip was extended. Doesn’t always happen but sometimes it does. That is why I now take laundry detergent pellets and quarters with me everywhere I go, lol.

VF, yeah, the downside of seniority when senior people switch bases, everyone in the base they go to either less seniority suddenly see their base positions fall. Know you enjoyed seeing class mates. Having gone to training myself, I know the strength of the bonding that occurs and stays. Stay safe and STAY seated during turbulence, no matter what call buttons are lighted. Herman

I just went thru the new phase a couple weeks ago. It was a nightmare. All check ins are via a kiosk. You weigh your own luggage, tag it etc. then you wait in a 45 minute zig zag line to get to security. Another 15 mins to get thru security check. Thankfully I arrived very early for my flight. The gate that I was flying out of wasn’t clearly marked and I had to get help with that. I’m heading back to Oregon in a couple weeks and I’m hoping they have worked out the kinks. Also, if you fly via Alaska, give yourself even more time, the B gate is quite the trek. The signs for gate B said concourse B which had me confused too. Notice all the zig zag lines….when I was there, they were full. I looked for a video like this one to hopefully help me with my next trip.
@valenciaflyer3 ай бұрын
Oh wow. Sounds challenging! So sorry for the hassle. Hopefully they will work out the kinks soon! 😅
@pacmanc810328 күн бұрын
This is untrue. Only Alaska Airlines operates the way describe, with self-service kiosks. Of course, you can use the full-service lines on the other side of the Alaska check-in island. The reason the B concourse is a trek is because the airport is still under construction (Phase 2). The much larger concourse E also has temporary hallways that skirt nrew terminal core. That’s what happens when you need a full-functioning airport at the same time areas are being demolished and rebuilt. By the way, there is no “Gate B” - there are 11 gates on the B concourse. If you ever have questions about what to do, there are scores of people wearing blue jackets all over the airport to assist. But from your other comments at this site, it appears that you’re merely here to denigrate what is a spectacular new terminal.
