You’re a fool. *gm’s* new infotainment UX is amongst the best in the industry. The Chevrolet Blazer EV’s infotainment system is so advanced and ahead of Ford’s that they’re able to rid their vehicles of Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, something Ford can’t wait to do. Believe me when I say *gm* doesn’t care because you’ll be back.

Thanks for the video. I like seeing what EVs are available. The pacing was good. It is also great you divided up the video. It looks like a great auto show to attend. I have only attended auto shows in Boston and Philly. I first saw the Mach-E under glass at the Boston show. You can do a charge day video on the bZ4X. :) I have not even tried the fake engine noise on my Mach-E. I like the quiet. The Polestar reminded me of the old Batman TV series where they labeled everything. One of the great things about a BEV is you can drive them indoors! My MME is Rapid Red. I would not get a car without Android Auto support either. The Hummer looks very interesting with the removable parts. I wonder if it is a good off road vehicle. It is great that other BEV trucks are becoming available.

Take a try with the MME sound and report back. I turned mine on and found that it almost urges you to drive faster because it feels like as it gets louder you expect it to change gears and so you’re chasing that change which in effect produces the need to go faster. For me at least. Otherwise for example at highways speeds and if you’re staying in it long then it can get drone inducing but otherwise I’ve now found myself leaving it on all the time.

@@ericcottrell8913 Yeah I get some motor whine from mine as well. Always liked that. I should say that I’m using mine in Unbridled mode. I do think the sounds may be different in other modes. That motor whine should still be there though. Combined with the V8-ish sound from Unbridled you get somewhat of a supercharged feeling

IIRC, Ultium is 400V, but for charging the large packs, they split the pack and put the halves in series to allow 800V charging. It will be interesting to see how that works with the Tesla SuperChargers. Also, more complex means more to go wrong.

I will forever remember the ipace from jaguar. The first show I ever took my Mach E to, there was a local Jaguar dealer there with a ipace and 2 employees. Towards the end of the day I over heard the lady ask her coworker “I thought we were going to have the only ipace here?” Her coworker told her they were and she adamantly asked her coworker “then what about the red one here?” While pointing at my Mach e. Her coworker had to tell her “*name*, that’s a FORD, not a Jaguar!” I almost fell out my chair laughing so hard. Even a Jaguar employee couldn’t tell the difference. 😂

LOL I watched the whole vid, and I'm shocked to compare Denver show I went to in April. They still keeping people out of the Chevy Equinox ! Tesla and Rivian were not at the Denver show, very disappointing!! LOL but y'all have a great video here, and I will do better on my next round of when ever I get to go to the Denver Auto Show!! I wonder if the industry is still recovering. I first saw the MME at the New England Auto Show in Boston back in January 2020. I wondered why I did not hear about later shows. It turns out 2021 was cancelled due to COVID-19 and both 2022 and 2023 were cancelled due to lack of inventory. They expect to be back in January 2024.

@@MachE_VLOG The crappy batteries that last only 800 charge cycles, but are permanently integrated into the frame of the vehicle, meaning the car could never outlast the battery. It's planned obsolescence, which, to me, is the opposite of sustainability. I can't wait for an EV with a removable solid state battery. I will be first in line. Edit: batteries should also be standardized, so once ive invested in one, I can move it to a different car, or if I want to upgrade to a better aftermarket one, I can.

@@SibzelChebst EVs have way more charge cycles than that Ave the warranties are 100,000 miles. They are not integrated into the car and can be replaced if necessary. In fact, Ford batteries are modular so even partial replacements are possible.

Liv's comments about lack of smaller ("petite") EVs and 200 miles of range being deficient are interesting. Over time the Big Three domestic manufacturers surrendered the production of smaller cars to Japan and then Korea, with Europe still having some offerings. We all know where Toyota, Honda, etc. are on electrification. The smaller Korean EVs (Kona, Soul, Ionic, Niro) were like compliance cars. Leaving the Leaf, Bolt, and Mini essentially, with I3 gone, Leaf fading, and Bolt getting bigger. So who can we look towards to fill that space in the US?

That iX would be so much more appealing if it had "kidneys" like my wife's Z3. I wonder if the show is a bit "dampened" by the UAW strike…? What's cool is that they can have those test rides inside… since EVs don't have tailpipes! Y'know… with the Lightning, the R1T, the Silverado EV, the Hummer EV, the RAM EV soon to all be in the market, I have a hard time imagining that long-time traditional truck owners would go for the CyberTruck. You can get in many vehicles if they are already for sale. So cars like the Blazer or even the Rally version of the Mach-E are locked. But you can get in lots of other cars like the regular version of the Mach-E, EV6, Lyric, etc.
