Every team gets bad calls against them, but man some of these are really inexplicable. The one against the Texans in particular was really bizarre.

Sadly that's one of the very few that was entirely correct according to the football rulebook. 100% correct call, no mistakes were made. The rule was immediately reviewed and changed though. The combination of rules was that using a penalty flag illegally was a 'delay of game' penalty, and reviews could not trigger on delay of game penalties, to prevent teams from using reviews as a pseudo time out, to give people time to rest or stall a drive that had momentum. This combination was never foreseen, although it really should have been. It was immediately changed so that calling for a review on an automatic review play is no penalty.

Different rule enforcements for different teams. Lions always end up with the short end of the stick.

@@bosox3431All I’ve ever played was O-line when growing up and I understand the NFL is a different game but that will get called 99% of the time from Middle School games to College games…you cannot wrap up, we know he didn’t hold or pull on his jersey but you can’t literally wrap your arms around a defender that blatantly. The rulebook is pretty vague on it. And if it wasn’t a hold in the rulebook I promise you would be seeing it happen every game by most of the line. You can wrap one arm and toss or pull, but hugging a lineman is not a legal block. Tired of KZbin analysts and “experts” and im no expert but I know the rules.

The play is not reviewable because Schwartz illegally threw the challenge flag. That wiped out the possibility of a review. If he hadn't thrown the flag, it would have been automatically reviewed and ruled down by contact. It isn't the ref's being crooked, it is Schwartz being an idiot.

HOW MANY ARE HERE BECAUSE THE REFS CALLED THE GAME FOR DALLAS TONIGHT AND STOLE THE WIN FROM THE LIONS???? Not only did the refs LITERALLY call the GAME for the Cowboys after the Lions HAD ALREADY WON by taking away a 2 point conversion that the lions scored BUT the refs also did NOT call a BLATANT pass interference on the Dallas defense with about 4 min left. That would have given the Lions a 1st down across the mid field line. The refs LITERALLY called tonight's game for the Cowboys AFTER THE LIONS HAD ALREADY WON THE GAME.
