I totally agree we need to shoot for home-field advantage throughout playoffs.

I don't think you understand what a need is. If a team wants to win a super bowl they NEED to make the playoffs. They do not 'need' to be the #1 seed, they WANT to be the #1 seed. Also in regards to getting the #1 seed, we do not 'need' to win out for that either. If we go 15-2 or 14-3 we are going to be the #1 seed. It does not require a 16-1 season.

Bro, all I I'm saying in a nutshell that the Lions need to shoot for home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. What are you talking about? Nothing in life is guaranteed. You fail to understand that Eagles Vikings are right behind us. All we have to do is drop a few games & they win a few, and we could be a lower wildcard seed. The goal is to get home-field. This is not saying Lions can't win on the road nothing is better than playing in front of your home crowd.

@ yeah I don’t think you hear yourself when you speak. We do not need to go 16-1. That’s an absolute joke. We do not need home field advantage either. We are undefeated on the road this year. You forget we have traveling fans. Nothing is ever guaranteed. That doesn’t prove your point even a little bit. No team has ever gone 16-1 so maybe chill out a little bit

@jonborton1295, why are you trolling. I have my opinion & you have yours. Nobody wants to play in a blizzard, bro. I'm know what I said. I'm just saying you would rather play at home in the playoffs. The Lions are undefeated at Ford Field in the playoffs as well. I know we have traveling fans. All teams do, so what are you saying. Make it make sense. I only said that because Eagles & Vikings are on our heels for wins.

@ I’m not trolling even the slightest bit. You saying we need to go 16-1 isn’t an opinion, it’s an objectively wrong statement.

Yes, because the other teams are still on our heels

That's what it's all about is winning out

Division games are always close, those can go either way.

True all facts 💯

Yeah, but those teams also need to win out in order to comfortably lead the conference.

They have been winning. My point is you want to get home-field advantage & that's my opinion on it. You don't want to play in a blizzard like environment in Philly or Green Bay & Washington.

Looking at this.... The only one I am concerned about are the Bills. Lions win the others. (I think that game will be the Superbowl match this year). 49ers & Vikings might be close but also wins. Eagles continue moving downward, no issues there. Redskins continue improving.
@LavaDesert7 сағат бұрын
Not necessary, other leading teams will also loose 2-3 games.

No they don't need to win out it would be nice if they did but they don't have to.😒
@lionsrawdetroitКүн бұрын
If they win out, they control their destiny, and teams would have to come to a hostile environment at Ford Field. They don't have to win out, but yes, it would be nice.

Buffalo is the only team that might beat Detroit. But both of their L's came on the road. I also don't think we will drop another game against our NFC North opponents. And the Colts don't appear to be all that formidable. That should be a fairly easy DUB as well. I will be disappointed if they do worse than 6 and 1 in the games they have left on the schedule. Could also realistically see them going 7 and 0.
@robertedward7023Күн бұрын
We should have beat the Bills in the 2022 Thanksgiving game. They just made some bad play calling in the last possession to give the Bills enough time to cone back. This team can beat any team in the league right now.

@@robertedward7023 I whole heartedly agree with you. That was the game where James Houston went sack happy. We should have won, though 😥. If I remember correctly, we lost that game because the secondary was not doing their job, as usual. I really don't think that will be an issue this time around with our outstanding DB's. Buffalo will be getting some key players back on offense when this game rolls around, so there will be more weapons to contend with. I expect that we win in a shootout, 38 to 30. But Buffalo is not Jacksonville, and if we play like crap (which I don't anticipate) we could lose. Still believe with every fiber of my being we are gonna finish the season 19 and 1. Superbowl or bust!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@robertedward7023Күн бұрын
@@KennethHill-fo6nc we were down 25-22 4th qtr and it was 3rd and 1. We were already in FG range but instead of running it and hopefully getting a 1st down and then a few more shots since there 30 seconds and we had 2 timeouts but they threw deep and it stopped the clock and the Bills didn’t have to waste a timeout and after we tied it they still had time. Basically just poor time management at the end. Thankfully they learned from their mistakes and are making much better decisions this year.

got 2 l's coming yet this season, no one wins out...deal with it, we'll still win the division and be number 1 seed in nfc.
