This female likely has personality disorder which is why she KEPT driving drunk. People with Antisocial Personality Disorder don't feel emotions the way normal people do so they seek emotional stimulation to achieve that. Sad part is they do risky things such as speeding/unsafe driving, substance abuse, permiscuous behavior etc. Another sign she probably has Antisocial Personality Disorder is her lack of self accountability. People with these disorders are never genuinely remorseful because they simply lack the emotional capacity to feel remorse like normal people. Also they play victim, even in situations where they are the aggressor. They are great pretenders. Notice she was hollering when the dad was speaking but when sentenced she was pretty much emotionless. And all of that shaking was an act. They will try to immulate the appropriate emotional responses for the right situation but they don't genuinely feel it. These are for the most part emotionally numb individuals.

That is just selfishness and neglect!! At some point in a person's life they need to take responsibility for their actions no matter what happened in their childhood. That of which we're all entitled to sssooooo what can you do other than advise and pray they take heed and the advice when given and not see it is somebody trying to control you and tell you how to live your life. anybody that cares about you will let you know anybody that doesn't care will watch you spiral downhill quickly until death 🤷🏾‍♀️ ANYWAY... She will at least get to see her kids when she gets out on visitation that man will never see his kid again ever and THAT'S WHAT FUKED UP PART OF IT ALL. the dad explained all the violent acts she's done to him while their son was in his arms and that says a lot to me. A mother who loves her child doesn't do that. She hated that man more than she loved her son clearly. Then to CHOOSE to drive drunk with your child in the car also shows 0 regard for your child's wellbeing and safety. She's shown numerous times apparently throughout this Child's short life a complete disregard for her son's welfare. This is very sad. That boy should've been with his father. A lot of folks in these comments have sympathy for her...I do not...especially after she said her piece.

We all know how custody situations can go. People do get spiteful and who knows what he was saying or doing in the process. I’ve seen it done before. He means well but could have been going about it all wrong! Don’t try to make him look like a saint because I heard her say she asked for help and all he could say is give him his child instead of helping her. So he didn’t give a duck about her in the beginning! If he really wanted his child to protect him and not to spite her, he would have taken the necessary steps from the jump. Not just ask her and when she says no he forget about it and don’t do anything! If he really had good intentions for his son he would have fought long and hard for him from the start! So he is not telling the truth! Yea he hurt that’s his child but let’s be honest here. He hates her because he never loves her!

Did she hate the child's father that much to kill his baby? Cause all the drinking in the world can't make me understand tire marks on that baby but she doesn't have a scratch on her own body. You can be drunk as he'll but you still have awareness of what you're doing unless you've passed out. Even more so, people get so called courage to do things they wouldn't do when they're sober but actually want to do. I think murder in the first degree would have been most appropriate here.

Addiction and Alcoholism is a horrible disease. It turns people into a completely different person. It causes people to make choices they would not normally make. I'm in NO way justifying her actions, however until you've walked the shoes of an addict it's hard to understand how horrific addiction is and how blind you become to everything. I believe she's sorry and I pray she is able to receive treatment and counseling in prison and is able to accept the full extent of the ramifications of her actions. The whole thing is devastating. Rest in peace to the sweet baby and may God have mercy on her soul.

Alcoholism affects you mentally which makes people act in ways they don't realize or control UNTIL they've dried out and receive counseling.... I know because I was an addict a long time and have done things then that I'd never do now in my life.. have YOU ever done something you're not proud of...🧐.. I understand what you're saying, BUT did you ever kill anyone while you were addicted? My question is, did she even offer to give up her children so she could get the help she needed? I was on this side, and the person responsible for HER OWN DEATH because of alcohol and addiction issues selfishly held onto a child she was neglecting, all while subjecting him to things no child should ever witness. Since she didn't do the right thing, then yes her soul was ugly because she obviously put herself above the safety and security of her children.

It literally take all hurting now, to be on a daily, one on One, prayer, with God. And from this your faith increase and you see moves God is making in your life. You can't for sure, undo the damage done, with a life taken, but you can recompense maybe having a platform where you can help others not make your mistake. Because it's a big hole to fill it will require, an ACT, good deed of sorts, and above all your asking others to forgive you, be sure you ask God, to forgive you. Once you do that, it's done.

People with alcohol problems can’t stop. If alcoholics could just quit we wouldn’t need rehab. Ppl with underlying mental health problems are usually the ones incapable of stopping because they are self medicating and trying to suppress symptoms stemming from mental health issues.

She lost me when she said she "needed" her kids, sweetheart they "needed" you. If you "need" kids you "need" help, children are not crutches or gift baskets, they are responsibilities that you need to take care of. Idk where she was in her life that she could spew that out but hope she's in a better place mentally after serving her time.

@bailey1950 you sound silly. I don't care about no grown person feelings, you just want something to say!! The police and the system are just as responsible as her. And for the record i did fight to get custody of my angel, i even tried reasoning with her but when i say the system has you guys backs you have no idea!! Fathers actually don't have rights to their children because they are not the custodial parent. Pay attention, I have a 28 year old son who has a four-year college degree and I've been in life everyday and still to this day! That's all i wanted to do with my baby......i care nothing about his mother and that bothered her. It's always about the kids! Females come and go my kids are for life!

Lonnell Jones, you are a brave, or crazy, man to be here in KZbin comments. People making assumptions and judgements based on the smallest bit of info...and sometimes just trying to get some attention...So much of what's here has nothing to do with you, or reality. Anyways, my sincere sympathy on the loss of your adorable little son. No parent should have to outlive a child like that. May his memory be a blessing, and that he knew how much his dad loved him and cared about him.
